Can I change my intended NOC after submitting my EE application?

I just posted the other day about errors in my application, and with the help of reddit (thank you) and my friends, I think I've been able to troubleshoot my issues.

My first profile was automatically rejected/no points because of the way I filled it out. I am currently only eligible for the FSW pathway, because I have <1 year FT Canadian work experience while not also studying (NOC 41403). I have a few years of U.S. work experience (NOC 42201). I put 41403 as my intended NOC, which I believe caused the issue.

My questions are:

  • Can I change my intended NOC after submitting my EE application to reflect my current job once I reach a year (in February 2027)?
  • Should I just wait until I reach a year of Canadian work to submit for CEC (PGWP doesn't expire until end of 2028)?
  • Or should I just pretend that my intended NOC is 42201 to align with my U.S. work experience and submit for FSW now?

[Routine Help] Skin barrier or something else?

Hello!

I am trying to refine my routine but I seem to be having some trouble. I have closed comedones and acne (whiteheads but sometimes feel like cystic acne) all around my jaw/jawline that I can’t seem to shake. I do wake up with skin that feels dry sometimes so I wonder if this is a barrier issue? Something else?

PM:

  1. Double cleanse, first with Palmer’s Oil Cleaner then generic-label Cerave hydrating cleanser
  2. Tret 0.05% cream (found the gel was too drying)
  3. Cetaphil moisturizing cream

AM:

  1. Rinse face with water
  2. Naturium Azelaic Acid
  3. Cetaphil moisturizing cream
  4. Trader Joe’s daily facial sunscreen

I find a thicker cream moisturizer is my best bet to keep my skin happy. I’ve tried to keep it somewhat simple, but is this too much? Any thoughts/things that have worked for you? Thanks!

Where can I shake ass (in my late 20s) in this city?

29F, been living here since summer 2023. I love Toronto so much. Amazing food scene, amazing bars, amazing city culture in so many ways. I have managed to find just about everything in this city but a reliable place to go dance.

About my preferences!

Dos: reliably busy, diverse crowd, shaking ass-able music (90s/00s, hip hop, some top 40 acceptable, honestly anything from techno to dancehall as long as the vibe in the room is good!), open late (everything closing at 2 breaks my heart a little but this one is negotiable for me lol)

Don'ts: all university students, all white crowd, lots of people but no dancing (looking at you, King St), a place where you need bottle service to have fun, Taylor Swift at the club

I believe this exists in the city, I just haven't reached the right networks to know about them--please enlighten me! I (and my fiancee who is with me in this struggle) will be so very grateful!
