MGS1: Stuck at the staircase section after skipping the rope rappel using Boba skip
Beat this game a few times before using the Boba skip, and never ran into this.
Basically, if I try to go down the broken staircase, I get blown up (like in the video). I figured I was going down the staircase too early, but even after taking the codec call from Campbell and trying the elevator first, I still get blown up if I head down the staircase.
In the video, I tried heading down halfway, then went back up to see if I could progress, but I just get blown up on the way back instead. Literally don't know what I'm supposed to do now.
