I don’t care how many downvotes I get: the Dorit pile-on has gotten ridiculous
This is not a post about whether I like Dorit or don't like Dorit....because I'm not saying either. Somebody just needs to inject a little common sense into this conversation.
Yes Dorit is loud, dramatic, high maintenance. But the truth is .... none of us actually know what is TRULY going on.
People will site in the comments about this headline, or that tabloid story, or this text snippet, or that note from PKs lawyer, etc. But none of this changes the fact that we don't see what happens off camera or behind closed doors. We don't see their private conversations, their full finances, or 99% of their actual lives. With the France trip, how do we know she hasn't been there trying to make business deals to get some income coming in? How do we even know that RHOBH cameras aren't with her in France as part of a contracted storyline? How do we know if her lawyer has told her not to say anything to defend or explain herself since it might hurt her in court? And then there's PK, who questioned on national television whether his own wife's PTSD was legitimate or whether she was just being obnoxious.... can we at least stop for five seconds and think about what that might say about what Dorit may have been dealing with privately?
But at the end of the day WE. DON'T. TRULY. KNOW.
What we DO see is a highly edited television show and an endless stream of tabloid stories. And suddenly those stories get repeated enough times that speculation becomes "fact," everyone jumps on the same bandwagon, and anybody who questions the accepted narrative gets treated like they're delusional.
People take rumors, anonymous sources, lawsuits, text snippets where we don't see the full exchanges over days/weeks/months, headlines, and online speculation, throw them into a blender, and what comes out the other side is treated as established fact. A narrative gets planted. It gets repeated. People pile onto it. Then every new piece of information gets interpreted through that narrative because everyone has already decided who the villain is. And anyone who speaks against the narrative gets downvoted.
Maybe people should use more common sense and critical thinking skills. Maybe we should stop acting like watching RHOBH, reading gossip sites, and scrolling social media gives us complete knowledge of somebody's marriage, finances, trauma, or character ..... Because it doesn't. For all we know Dorit’s team may have uncovered money, assets, or information involving PK that the public knows absolutely nothing about.... and that could be why she’s holding her position. People who blindly pile on Dorit as though they have access to the case file could quite literally be buying into a narrative created as part of one side’s divorce strategy and have no idea they’re being played.
Amanda feels more like a symptom of BH's problems rather than the solution.
I don't feel Amanda was compelling enough to still have viewers talking about her months later. I think what's really happening is that RHOBH has struggled for the past few seasons, and fans are so desperate for the show to be great again that they'll latch onto almost any new HW, hoping THIS will be the person who finally turns things around.
It's actually kind of sad because I think people are projecting what they WANT Amanda to be rather than reacting to what she actually brought to the show. If BH was still firing on all cylinders the way it was during its strongest years, I honestly don't think someone like Amanda would have generated this much talk .... or even been cast in the first place. She feels more like a symptom of where the franchise is right now than the answer to its problems.

Kyle in a new element on RHUGT
Excited to see Kyle in RHUGT in a completely different atmosphere away from all the usual Beverly Hills dynamics. She's been through so much over the past couple of years, and it feels like getting to know Morgan has inspired her to make a lot of positive changes in her life....she seems healthier, more confident, and more willing to live authentically than she has in a long time. I'm curious to see her interacting with women from the other franchises and as who she is the more she is figuring out the Mo stuff and the longer she's known Morgan. It just feels like a fun change of pace and I'm looking forward to it!

Can't wait to see RHOBH Kyle!
I can't wait to finally start watching RHUGT! As a RHOBH watcher I'm really excited to see Kyle in a completely different atmosphere away from all the usual Beverly Hills dynamics. Other Group Recommendations
After CONSTANTLY seeing endless posts throughout the years slamming the m0ds of RHOM for running a dictatorship- I am now part of the bandwagon 😂
Why do so many of these people have the most fragile ego’s & herd mentality brains ever? If you don’t have the emotional intelligence, maturity & rationality to be unbiased & impartial to opinions that you don’t necessarily agree with then go you shouldn’t be in charge of such a group like Real Housewives & maybe go make a little high school fan club/dictatorship instead 🙄
In saying that- does anyone have any recommendations for a RHOM / any RH groups that are actually run by decent human beings?

We love you Garcelle and we miss you 🫶
Garcelle just did a beautiful post on her instagram with videos and pics of her family on the beach. It looks like Malibu, so it's so beautiful to see her living those dreams she had when she first bought the beach house there. As much as I'd love to see Garcelle back as a HW, if she never does come back I'm just happy to know that she has so much family around her.

Jennifer looks so fabulous during her summer trip to Italy for a Dolce show 🌺💎✨️
Jennifer has been posting a lot about her recent trip to Italy for Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda collection fashion show. Her whimsical, creative self really shines through in this pic. Her energy is so bright and I so look forward to her sweeping us off our feet again in S16 🧚♀️
Deep dive and theories on the Kathy in Aspen drama
I already posted this, but was a veerrrry long post because I had to explain the theories 😂 It didn't get much discussion, and I don't blame anyone for not wanting to read a novel. But I think there might actually be something really interesting going on with the Aspen situation that deserves a group deep dive. So I'm reposting a shorter version.
Before the visit to Kemo Sabe, did anyone catch Kathy calling it Wasabi? Production barely acknowledged it, which surprised me .... and got me thinking: What if that wasn't just a Kathy being Kathy moment? What if production DID notice it but DID NOT highlight it because they knew it would have much bigger consequences later on ... but let it in as an easy to miss clue for viewers? And what if Kathy knew Kemo Sabe carried Kendall Jenner's tequila instead of hers, and so Wasabi was actually Kathy throwing a dig at the Kemo Sabe? And ... did Kath deliberately choose to bring her tequila to Kemo Sabe to send them a message about not stocking it there?
Then Rinna very intentionally orders Kendall's tequila ... there's even a quick and easy to miss second where the bartender spins the bottle label to the cameras that gave the Jenner tequila a legit poduct placement. Was Rinna's Jenner tequila order her reacting to Kathy's Wasabi dig? Was there already a Hilton/Jenner tequila rivalry that Rinna knew about and she was looking to take the spotlight away from Kathy and/pr draw some drama out of Kathy? Or was Rinna acting on production's orders to foil Kathy's tequila?
And why was RINNA the one who ended up alone with Kathy after the club? Random... or not???
Did anyone else pick up on these details? It might seem like no big deal ... but the Kemo Sabe visit, where Kathy audibly said she was pissed because Kyle didn't defend here on the tequila, was actually the start of what later that night would become one of the biggest scandals in RHOBH history. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this theory.
Come back Eileen! We need you ... and Vince too!
With the S16 cast announcement coming any day now (we hope!), it's a little nervewracking to not know if we are finally going to get the show back or if we will be handed another dud. Why is it so hard to just bring the best of the best back?! I'd even take Eileen as a friend of! Let her replace Kathy ... an Eileen/Jennifer friend-of duo would be fabulous! And even though there aren't any other husbands for Vince to chum around with, I say he brings on his own real-life group of friends!
Kathy, Aspen, wasabi, and Tequila
I never thought anything could top the Amsterdam dinner, but Aspen might have done it! I'm a firsttime watcher and just finished the S12 episode where Rinna reveals the Kathy in Aspen situation. Bear with me because this might be a long post because I need to set up the theories 😂 Also, I'm a Rinna fan... most of the time.
Did anyone else notice something before they went to Kemo Sabe? I think they were still at the house and Kyle was explaining what to expect at Kemo Sabe. While everyone else was talking, Kathy referred to it as "Wasabi."
What immediately stood out to me was that production didn't make a big deal out of it. They didn't zoom in, add funny music, or edit it like one of Kathy's goofy moments. You almost had to be listening for it because the main conversation was louder.
So why did Kathy call it Wasabi?
- Was it some kind of funloving inside family joke? (possibly)
- Did she genuinely think that was the name? (seems unlikely)
- Or was she intentionally being dismissive or disrespectful toward the business...the same business where she was trying to promote her tequila? (But that stocked Jenner tequila instead?)
Here's where my theory starts.
Was there a Hilton/Jenner tequila rivalry (or a Hilton/Jenner rivalry period)? Did Kathy know Kemo Sabe stocked the Jenner tequila but not Kathy's tequila ... if so, does that make it most likely Wasabi was intentional?
If Wasabi was indeed meant as a dig, do you think Rinna picked up on it? Could that be why Rinna deliberately ordered Kendall Jenner's tequila instead of Kathy's....to get back at Kathy for maybe disrespecting the shop that had agreed to place her tequila? Or did Rinna think it was shady for Hilton tequila to be placed in a shop where Jenner tequila was stocked? There was also a super quick moment where the bartender seemed to intentionally turn the bottle so the label faced the camera....almost like maybe this was planned ahead of time as a Jenner commercial or maybe Rinna asked the bartender to do it in the moment?
On the other hand .... if Rinna's tequila order wasn't a response to Kathy calling it Wasabi or to give credit to Jenner instead of Hilton, then what was her reason for ordering a competing tequila? It seemed very intentional and specifically aimed at Kathy, so I'm wondering what motivated it!!
And .... WHY RINNA in the sprinter van ride from the club back to the house? Was this random? Did production ask/tell Rinna to be the one to take her back? Did Rinna volunteer to be the one so that she could stay on top of and/or fuel the drama?
And .... did production purposely not focus on Wasabi before they went to the shop because production knew that there was a connection to Rinna's move with the Jenner tequila and they didn't want to highlight it ... or did they keep it in to drop a buried clue for us?
And sidenote that RHOBH's 2 most explosive moments both revolve around Rinna and a Richards sister. Hope this rabbit hole makes sense! I'm not taking a stance on the club, van ride, and house after the club ... I just can't help but run these theories by y'all and see if anyone else was picking up on the same things.
Kathy in Aspen makes me see Kyle in a whole new light
New watcher and just watched the S12 Kathy Apen episode where Rinna showed her texts. I'm floored. Regardless of what's true, what's false, or what's exaggerated, I see Kyle in a whole new light now. (And Kim as well.)
