Amazon, Walmart and other reviews seem to be all over the place. There's no middle ground really...The reviews are either 1 star or 5 star.

What's a good, cheap model that's not going to break the bank at 8000 BTU's?

I'm in a 300 sq foot bachelor unit, there is a box cut out of the wall in the unit for where Window AC's would go with a grate attached to the back so no critters can get in. Can't remove that.

I don't pay hydro so I don't need to worry about power draw or electricity bills.

Don't care if it's got WiFi or any of that other fancy stuff. Just want one that will cool the room down, seems to be 8000 BTU's for my SQ ft is what I want.

Located in Ontario, Canada. Budgtet is anywhere from 200-300.

Found 4 that are on sale now. Which of these 4 is the best one?

Hisense, Ktaxon, Danby, Philodelco

Not sure which is the best brand out of those 4, but they are perfect for the size of my unit as well as within my Price range.

EDIT: Actually upon looking further this may not work? I have a hole in my wall apparently called a "Wall Sleeve" which means I may need something called a "Through-The-Wall" AC unit?

Ever since whatever update they released between 2 days ago and today seems to have borked my audio. The volume is SO LOW I can barely hear chests, footsteps, etc.

• None of my settings have changed or been changed (double, triple and quadruple checked everything)
• None of my windows settings have been changed (same as above)
• All volume is @ 100% (same as above two)
• No driver updates, nothing literally has changed in the last 48 hours on my PC except whatever update they pushed in that timeframe
• Voice chat is working fine, as loud as it's always been. Purely only in game volume

I literally can't hear anyone even if they're 2 feet in front of me. But before that, everything was almost too loud. Played on Friday night and it was same as it's been for years. Played just now and every sound is so low. Last night on my fourth game the volume suddenly went back to normal, but today it's back to low as fuck.
