Logitech Combo Touch trackpad — looking for advice/experiences

I recently picked up the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad Air and I’m having some trackpad issues I wanted to get the community’s take on.

A few things I’ve noticed:

•	Palm rejection seems unreliable — while typing, the cursor occasionally jumps and selects/overwrites text unexpectedly
•	Cursor precision is difficult — placing the cursor at a specific point in text takes multiple attempts
•	On uneven surfaces, the mechanical click mechanism can get stuck in a clicked position and register phantom clicks

I’ve seen some discussion online suggesting the Magic Keyboard’s trackpad is significantly better, and I’m now considering switching to a Magic Keyboard + MOFT Snap Stand combination to get the kickstand functionality I wanted from the Combo Touch.

Has anyone made this switch? Would love to hear whether others have had similar trackpad experiences with the Combo Touch, and whether the Magic Keyboard is as noticeably better as people say.

Does anyone else have serious problems with the trackpad on the Logitech combo touch?

I am using the Logitech combo touch folio case for my iPad Air. I find the trackpad practically unusable. For example:

- Poor palm rejection: While typing, suddenly the cursor moves and starts selecting and typing over text. Whole paragraphs get deleted.

- Inaccurate and whacky tracking: I just spent 30 seconds trying to place the cursor between two words. The cursor just seems to have a mind of its own (mind you, I have it on the fastest tracking setting, as I find that anything less is extremely slow and hard to use)

- A minor issue but since it uses a mechanical click rather than haptic feedback + pressure sensor, if the surface underneath the keyboard is not perfectly flat, it locks itself into a “clicked” position and might randomly click by itself.

I bought the combo touch because I wanted the flexibility of being able to type and also being able to prop up the iPad by itself. I am considering switching to a regular Magic Keyboard and prop up the iPad with a separate MOFT snap stand. Does anyone have thoughts?
