I have absolutely zero experience in this stuff.would provide closeups or details if asked

I have athletic body type and have a medium tan skin tone the skirt is mid waisted and the colour is lighter that in the pictures because of my frame outfits like this tend to look like I'm crossdressing sometimes.😭 And I don't love the fact that the attached pallu covers up the blouse so am thinking about cutting it off for a dupatta style but the cut off side won't have the embroidery so I am not sure.thus outfit was passed down to me it was made 20 years ago and is very heavy. Help appreciated 💓
