-yes i have checked sticky keys, filter keys, updated/reinstalled drivers, no its not the actual keys

recently purchased a refurbished lenovo thinkpad t14s. the shift keys work fine until i download microsoft 365 personal. i confirmed this by fully resetting my computer, the keys worked up until the point i reintalled 365. it managed to stop the physical shift keys working in every program. the on screen shift keys still work though.

i can occasionally get them to work if i toggle caps lock on and off, but they only work temporarily or until i restart my computer.

i have tried everything, can't find anyone online with the same problem.
