Upgrading/switching from the Casio PX-S1000?

I have had the above digital piano for the past 5-6 years and have been mostly very happy with it until recently. I have been sorely missing the feel and rich sound of real grands.

What are the best options for upgrading the speakers, key feel, sound samples? I would like to keep my budget under a grand but not if the difference in quality would be negligible.

Some options I’ve seen would be the FP-30, ES-120, P225, etc

Are these keyboards materially better than the S1000?

Is Pianoteq worth it?

I currently have a Casio PX-S1000 which sounds pretty decent to me and feels good. The sound does leave something to be desired and I’ve been wanting a richer and fuller sound from a real grand.

Are the pianoteq models accurate? Do they sound good? I’d ideally use the Bosendorfer or Steinway plugins.

I’m asking because I’m curious if the plugin will be a real upgrade from an already good sounding digital piano.

Battlefield 6 doesn’t feel good

I played BF6 for the first time last night for a few hours. Here are my thoughts:

I’m sure these things have been said many times over but anyways…

  1. The UI is horribly designed and incredibly busy/overwhelming to look at. I noticed that I was mentally fatigued after playing for only an hour just trying to navigate everything.

  2. The movement/gunplay feels almost identical to the newer COD entries. Perhaps that’s just where modern fps games are, but I remember when Battlefield games felt a little more natural and not so COD-like.

  3. The maps seemed fine, not as big as the previous installments but not as bad as I had expected

  4. Vehicles are well designed

Overall it just seems like a COD game with a Battlefield logo on it. Which is unfortunate because Battlefield has always been far better than COD in terms of multiplayer, disappointing that they’ve lost their way and the soul of what they used to be.
