Annotation layer improperly applied

Hello. I am still new to annotation and am a bit confused with a part I’m working on. This is 7075 aluminum and the process was partially successful. I followed 720 rule for 10 square inches of surface area and left it in for two hours at .43 amps. The result was this grey piece but it is still conducting and I do not think it will take dye (I’ve had similar pieces). I am using aluminum wire as my cathode any advice?

Unsure how to improve results

Hello I have had very poor results recently. My parts are coming out burnt and unable to accept dye. I followed the 720 rule and for my 10 square inches of surface area I ran at around .43 amps yet my voltage is incredibly low and my parts remain conductive. Not sure if a different cathode would help here I am using aluminum wire.

First Time Anodizing Aluminum Could Use Some Help!

Hello like the title says this is the first time I have annodized aluminum. It turned out ok I mean it’s purple but should definitely be improved. Does anyone know what causes those white spots? I’m assuming it’s poor surface prep but I would like to know what else could be effecting this piece. Also there is a lot of uneven levels of dying and I do not know if that is an issue with the oxide layer or can happen during the dying process

Hi I’m a college student 20M right now and just feel lost in the dating scene. I have a pretty large social circle, pretty equal in gender, and am fairly extroverted but have just had no luck in relationships. I know plenty of women, and they are great, but I just don’t find myself romantically interested in any of them(And that’s fine I love my friends). I’m an engineering student and currently running a large design team on the side so I don’t have a whole lot of opportunities to go out on the weekend or join other clubs. I have tried Hinge but really didn’t jive with the people I was seeing and only got a few matches. I’m considering giving it a second shot but gotta survive my exams first. I really want to get into dating again but after a rejection that I spent far too long chasing (hope I learned my lesson) I am just so confused on what to do. I feel very anxious about just leaving it up to chance and keep doing what I’m doing hoping that somebody I’m interested in will just end up in one of my classes or join my club but I don’t really know what else to do.

TLDR: College is hard and busy. I don’t know what angle to approach the dating scene but I want to get involved.
