to anyone who understands germ: what does he represent/what do you enjoy about him

its something thats been in my head for awhile, cause a lot of his dialog feels intentionally hard to read
never been like. a hater, but ive never understood what theres to germ deep down

so for the last 2 weeks, ive been writing a short comic about mae and collin saying goodbye before she leaves for college, its easily the biggest project ive ever worked on.
i dunno if ill ever make a comic again, but this was fun to do, visualizing a part of my fanfics
written and drawn by me
