How do you avoid getting insta-killed?

The devs really just made a worse version than the demo, took your money, and ran,

all they really needed to do was optimization: more options for different challenges going through the same routes of bosses or whatnot. Maybe have a secret boss.

The game that they brought out that was nothing like the demo wasn't as fun.

I liked the gauntlet element in the demo a lot.

Is there any stuff, techniques, learning videos out there that's not paywalled?
