if you can't pick a service: selling websites to businesses that don't have one is the easiest close i've found
everyone here debates niches for months. the thing that actually got me replies: only pitch businesses that visibly need the thing.
the workflow:
1. pick a trade + city. plumbers in savannah, barbers in tulsa, whatever.
2. pull the google maps listings and keep only businesses with NO website. these are established businesses — reviews, customers, a phone that gets answered — that are invisible outside of maps.
3. build the demo BEFORE the pitch. "i already made this for you, want it?" converts completely differently than "would you like to discuss a website."
4. charge $500–5,000 flat. no retainer talk on the first close — upsell maintenance after they've paid once.
the "no website" filter is the whole trick. you're not convincing anyone they need marketing. google already did that. you're just the person who showed up with it built.
disclosure: i built a tool that does steps 2 and 3 automatically (parola.pro — finds the no-website businesses with verified phones, ai-builds the demo) because doing it by hand was the bottleneck. you can also do it manually with maps scrapers — slower, but the playbook works either way.
what's everyone else leading with as their entry service?
Day 3 of my SaaS soft launch: 100 signups, 6 paying customers, $55 MRR — what worked and what flopped
i'm 19, non-technical, first product. built an AI tool that finds local businesses without websites and builds them one in about a minute (freelancers resell the sites). soft launched saturday.
numbers so far (day 3):
- 100 signups, 6 paying customers, $55 MRR
- zero churn so far
- traffic: tiktok (i had a 42k account before building), google brand searches, a little reddit
what worked:
- audience first. i posted the build process on tiktok for months before launch, so day-1 traffic already knew the product.
- fixing hooks, not videos. my first launch-day videos averaged 2.2 seconds of watch time. rewrote the first line of every script to name the outcome in the first two seconds and it turned around.
- fixing bugs in public. a customer lost credits to a bug on day 1 — refunded + fixed within hours + posted about it. that customer stayed.
what flopped:
- posting one video to six platforms at once. spray-and-pray did nothing. one platform where you already have an audience beats six where you don't.
- scheduled content. everything that performed was posted when something real happened.
happy to answer anything. (product is parola.pro if you want context, but the numbers are the point.)
3 days post launch
600 visitors and 6 paying customers I’m so happy and blessed, and to those who were wondering before the website is parola.pro and it allows users to create websites for small businesses that dont have them, it also has a lead finder to find these businesses, and to those who wanted to stay updated on it here’s the post 😅
Day 3 post launch day
So far, I’ve gotten 5 paying subs, 600 website visitors and 76 people to sign up 🙌 if you’re wondering what the website is it is parola.pro and it allows people to build websites for small companies that don’t have them, and it also has a lead finder to find them
I built a tool that finds local businesses without a website then builds them one in under 2 minutes
Hi, I’m Matt, and I soft launched parola.pro 2 days ago expecting nothing, now I already have 5 paying customers because of how good the tool is, essentially users find leads anywhere in the world, call them with the provided phone number, then pitch them with a automatically generated pitch and then sell them the website for $500-$2000, if you’re interested or have any questions just comment below and I’m happy to answer (:

Launched 2 days ago and already have 4 paying subscribers
This actually feels like a fever dream, I literally launched this 2 days ago and expected 2 SIGNUPS in my first few days and now I already have gotten 4 different people that I don’t know to pay, I’m actually so grateful and I’m just so excited I had to share this 😭
I built a tool that finds local businesses with no website, then builds them one in 60 seconds
Solo founder, launched today. The idea: there are millions of US small businesses
with no website. Freelancers already make $500–$5,000 building sites for them, the hard parts are FINDING them and building fast enough to make the math work.
So I built Parola: one search returns every business in a niche + city that has
no website (verified phone numbers included), and the builder generates a complete site, booking form and all, in about a minute. You pitch it with a
preview link, publish when they pay, and can even put it on their own domain.
Free plan builds your first site, no card. It's parola.pro if you want to poke at it.
Happy to answer anything about the stack, the business model, or the "will AI sites actually sell" question, AMA.
