Am I the only one who wants to see AS pick up a Midwest hub?
My thought is to take advantage of the Amazon A330 cargo partnership and launch CVG as a Midwest hub using a Hawaiian version of the 787 livery on some leased A330s flying to Europe to punch back at Delta.
If you can get cargo for Amazon/DHL to help cover the costs you can probably grab some of the ULCC traffic based there too.
Alaska already has A330 pilots and MRO ops there for Amazon, so it's not a huge stretch.
