To all the students pursuing bs-ms and physics enthusiasts.

I have some queries....As I went through the official website of SAU.

1. I saw 4-5 professors listed there.

Is it really the actual scenario, The Physics department only has 4-5 faculty members???

2. If so, I didn't see any faculty with a research experience of quantum physics/astrophysics/. People who are interested in these fields. How do you manage, like you try to seek guidance from whom?

3. I don't see any faculty from any prestigious institution. Most PhD are from JNU or some Central University. And in Instagram as well there is almost no information about seminars are uploaded. How do you network or you perceive to target any abroad or indigenous institution.

4. what are the promises done by the university about anything in the future..?

If anything is not mentioned in the official website and you know it. Please let me know .....

Thank you...

Hey! I am filling the admission form for 2027 admission. But I am confused about the need based financial aid of the university. Because my whole admission depends on this sole criteria.

My father is self employed ( runs his own shop ), but has an annual income of less than 10 lakh. I read many subreddits that krea is not that generous in giving financial aid.

My question is..

Did anybody got the financial aid ?

Do they offer at once or revise it every sem or every year ?

If revise, then what are the terms and conditions to continue it for every sem ( for eg: 7 or 8 cgpa + )

Or any other relevant information is also welcomed. Please let me know.....

Hey! I filled a form for ashoka UG admission 2027. I have a few doubts:

I filled the form and It shows "currently no form is live", and admission will start from October but the admission for 2027 is started, It is being advertised everywhere. So now I am confused. If anybody else also applied for the same then please help me out...!

I am a neet aspirant and recently got to know about SAU. So to all the students enrolled in bs-ms in SAU. Could you please share some information:

How are the professors ? ( Especially physics I'm kinda interested in)

How's the lab and research Atmosphere ?

Do College help in internships?

Do they arrange seminars and conferences ?

Alumni network for foreign masters or Phd's ?

I got to know about the hostel allotment issue. How do you manage and your take on the issue ?

Location? Food ? Batch strength and diversity?

Your overall experience and would you recommend ?

I am a NEET dropper who opted for BIOLOGY because of the fear of MATHEMATICS ( frightened even more than death 😭). Now I am not able to study for this exam ( totally depressed 😭) because I don't like mugging up this book "n" number of times . I want to pursue bsc physics ( because I love physics). I cannot go for Btech because I don't have maths and am confused because as a neet aspirant I never gave a thought to Plan -B ( thought I'll easily crack this exam, silly me 😭 )

Now, if I go for Bsc as a major in physics and minor in mathematics and computer science. I just want your genuine suggestions about my career paths which I am assuming right now:

I am thinking in a way like if my math gets better with time

- I'll go for quant finance

- If I want to pursue engineering further I'll go for Mtech quantum computing

- If none of this works, I'll go for pure sciences - masters in astrophysics

I don't know much please put light on the above directions, because I don't want to take multiple drops anymore I am exhausted and want to pursue my interest and most importantly I want to secure a job after all these efforts...

Frankly speaking.I am a neet dropper but kinda start getting interested in physics. So i am thinking of filling the form of ashoka univ for bsc physics hons for the admission year 2027. I want to know how's the atmosphere there like:

Faculties?

Foundational courses?

Batch strength?

Internship opportunities?

Seminars and conferences arranged?

Need based Fin aid ? ( If anybody got like the maximum percentage )

Overall your review over the campus and curriculum?

Like I am quite weak in mathematics 😭,( because I was preparing for medical entrance exam ), so how much time I'll get to improve my high school knowledge??

Frankly speaking.I am a neet dropper but kinda start getting interested in physics. So i am thinking of filling the upcoming form of APU for the mentioned course. I want to know how's the atmosphere there

Faculties?

Course structure?

Foundational courses?

Internship opportunities?

Seminars and conferences arranged?

Overall your review over the campus and curriculum .

ABOVE ALL THIS - I want to know abt JAYANTH ( I watched one podcast of him and got to know he is a physics faculty at APU..)
