Early Weather Report
I really like WR pre Jaco as in “I Sing the Body Electric”. You can really feel Miroslav Vitous’ influence on these tunes, and Wayne Shorter is so much more comfortable in this freer environment than the more funky albums that WR is most known for.

Cool stems
I’ve bought a pair of short beaded stems (hiflow), a pair of angled stems, and an in- line bubbler from The Vapetrix. Great, products, prices and quick service. It would be nice if they threw in a couple screens for those stems that require them though.

Hank Jones
Digging the artistry of Hank Jones in these two records. The Jones/Jordan LP is one of those direct to disk albums where the master is cut directly from the mics in studio. The Greatest Trio album is a joy to hear Tony Williams and Ron Carter holding down the rhythm. Bonus, paid $3 ea.

Michael Brecker (album)
I don’t often buy new pressings, prefer the used LP market, but this one reminds me of why I love this format. This audiophile release not only sounds great, but the packaging is so well designed. Great photographs, information and liner notes. Album title is in gold leaf stamp. This lineup and the music within is superb.
