Hi,
We're still looking at moving to Northern Italy, and we are still considering Brescia for its location in the region. One quick question: does anyone here have experience with commuting to Milan for work? (family life in Brescia, professional life in Milan). Ideal would be to live and work in the same city.
For context, I am a registered architect in the U.S. and enjoy preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse projects. I have been practicing Italian and really want to learn more.
Thanks!
Should I send this?
Hi _____,
Please forward this response to the building management:
What should we do with our clothes?
It is a utility space, not a common space.
It is right next to the trash rooms, which smell much, much worse.
The bike closet is only visible to people who open the doors, most likely other bikers.
Being able to bike to work is critical for me. I have been using my bike as a clothes rack for more than 4 years and it has not been an issue for anyone. Storing the clothes with the bike has been a standard practice for every other office with bike racks.

Team: A quick note from the building:
The common area bike room is a shared room for the building in its entirety and is strictly for BIKES only, do not leave sweaty, smelly clothing, shoes or other items draped over bikes for others to be subjected to, should we find clothing or other personal items in the room it will be removed and bagged until we are notified.
Best,

Been using the 11” pro for several years now, upgraded (cross-graded?) to a 13” iPad Air yesterday, and now the Duet display app suddenly requires a subscription to be able to use it for more than 30 minutes at a time and kicks me out when I even think about using the pencil. Does anyone here have experience with the pro version of the app? I can see several advantages with being able to use it for work (architecture), being able to use the pen to draw markups in Bluebeam, but $90 a year…. Maybe I’m too grumpy about subscription models, but i guess it’s too late to keep fighting it.

Maybe 29 other local bike commuters up for a 3-lap race? Would a Saturday morning in July be good, or 5pm on a Tuesday in December? One of each?
There’s nothing like jumping up and down on a piece of plywood for fifteen minutes to help me stay awake at the office in the afternoon.
I’m lucky enough to have a spot (good-sized patch of clean and smooth pavement) right behind my office and the space to keep a board under my desk, and I hope you are too.
Just thought I’d share
Hi!
The fretboard on my recently acquired Legator Ghost 8 String is flat as a pancake, making it reeeaaly easy to fret but makes the bottom 3 strings barely audible through all of the buzzing. I tried loosening the truss rods to give it a little bit of a bow, but they already feel like they're about to fall out and there's no change to the fretboard so far.
The bottom string (F#) is a .80, and it looks like the nut is designed for a ~.74... That's probably a separate issue but might make the notes slightly sharp as I go down the fretboard closer to the nut.
Should I try tuning up a whole step and let it sit for a few days and see if anything happens to the neck?
I don't think raising the saddles would do anything for this issue.
I'm really impressed by it apart from the issue with the flatness of the fretboard. It is much, much heavier than I expected, but the shape is comfortable.)
Thanks!
(I'll post pics of the beauty when I get a chance, maybe after I get the truss rod issue figured out. Otherwise it'll be very sadly on its way back to Gutter Center.)
Does anyone in the Boston area have a Kyber Headless 8 string that i could try? I’ll buy you coffee and a pizza. Maybe in a park on a sunny day…?
Thanks!
p.s.: seven or six string might be just as good to try so I can at least get a feel for the body. (I’ve been playing 7 string for 27 years now)
