I can't stand the Gemini assistant

I have been using the Google assistant when driving my car for years, recently I was forced over to the Gemini assistant because I use the Gemini app and it's been terrible. It's far less responsive, makes mistakes, and takes more explanation to get it to do simple things like calling people and setting the directions.

I have to constantly go and set it back to the normal assistant.

I hate that they are eventually going to force us all to use a worse assistant all because they want to force us to use their LLM.

My gaming group meets up once a year for a long gaming weekend where we highlight it with some kind of cooperative mini game. Last time we ran Frostgrave, the time before we ran the Iron Kingdom D6 TTRPG. Both were heavily modified.

This time my group is looking for something in-between a TTRPG and a mini wargame. We want something that is focused on a single hero with deep character customization and build options.

We have a big group so we would prefer a system that runs pretty fast, and I'm more than happy to do some heavy modifications to the game so if it's something close to what we want that's great.

I haven't been able to find anything I've been happy with.

Thanks for the help!

5 years ago I followed a basic Phaser tutorial and built a demo game, today I picked it back up and polished it up a little. Now I was hoping to show it off and get some feedback. It isn't anything ground breaking but I'm still happy with how it turned out.

My friend group gets together every year or so to play a big wargame every couple of years.

I typically spend the year making all the terrain and writing rules for the game and as part of that I print something to hand out to players. Something to remember the game by but is also a useful player aid.

The first time I bought dice, last time we played Frostgrave and I printed book shaped dice boxes.

This time we are running a Steampunk Airship game but I'm not sure what I should get.

My initial thought was a life tracker or dice tower but I'm hoping to crowd source some ideas. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
