Price Increases for the Ferrari F40 & F50 (currently available as Special Picks with low double digit year mileage) but below market value.

PD announced back in March, in cooperation with Hagerty, that they were going to be adjusting prices for some of the cars available in the LCD based on current market values starting in June:

https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/news/00_8497133.html

So while a price increase was certainly expected for most of the cars by Ferrari, thankfully the increase was very small compared to some of their real world values based on the auction results from just this past week:

https://www.reddit.com/r/granturismo/s/TdW08T0xS8

The F40 only went up by less than 10% from 3.1m credits to 3.4m credits (most recent auction result was $8.4m.)

The F50 only went up by about 5% from 4.45m credits to 4.7m (most recent auction result was $14.6m 😳)

These increases were applied before these latest auctions… so might want to grab them when you can before PD decides the increase wasn’t nearly enough to represent IRL values.

Also, as an added incentive, both of these cars are currently available as Special Picks with very low double digit mileage based on their production years.

The F50 also comes in a very rare original livery, Argento Nurburgring 😎

Need Help Identifying and hopefully fixing an issue with non uniform color bleeding most noticeable when displaying white on LCD TV

The TV in question is a UHD 65” LCD TV by LG (65UJ6300-UA) and here is a photo of the problem.

This is my parent’s TV and has had no problems since they got it nearly 10 years ago until now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully Hagerty and PD don't try and match these price trends, but if not most of these are bargains right now in GT7.

In terms of % increase, the Ferraris are way higher now. The LaFerrari that sold this week was over 5x more expensive than in GT7. The Enzos were around 4x more. The GTO was over 3x more. The F50s and F40 were around 3x more.

The Lamborghini Diablo GT also sold for nearly three times as much as in GT7.

Disclaimer: Not all of these cars are in their exact specs in GT7, but with mods, tunes, and liveries, one can make surprisingly good replicas. The last screenshot is the complete collection I put together from this list.

Tribute to Kaneda’s bike from the classic anime film and manga Akira via the Chaparral VGT 😎

I have mixed feelings about the VGT cars, but there are some exceptions, and the Chaparral 2X VGT is definitely one of them.

https://gran-turismo.fandom.com/wiki/Chevrolet_Chaparral_2X_Vision_Gran_Turismo

For one, it always reminds me of the Nike One from GT4 (photo included) which I always thought was super cool in looks and design:

https://gran-turismo.fandom.com/wiki/NIKE_One_2022

It wasn’t particularly useful in the game, but I loved the imaginative design!

Fast forward to GT7, and unlike the Nike One, the Chaparral VGT is actually quite a joy to drive (except for the sound 🙉), and it can be used in several events, however I mostly enjoy using it in Custom races (especially at night and in the rain!)

Visually, it’s stunning and one of the most futuristic designs in the game. The cockpit view in VR is incredible to experience!

In addition, livery creators have made some absolutely spectacular designs for this car… and my favorite is easily this tribute made by konezumiway of Kaneda’s bike from the classic anime film and manga Akira:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_(1988_film)

So if anyone is on the fence on whether or not to get this car, I would definitely encourage you to do so. It can be a very pleasant surprise!

Schwarzwald League @ Catalunya GP with a sleeper ‘56 Porsche 356 Carrera 🤫

One of this week’s Weekly Challenges includes the Schwarzwald League @ Catalunya GP race. Which has opponents like:

* 911 GT3 RS (991) '16
* Carrera GT '04
* 911 GT1 Strassenversion '97

So just for fun, I decided to enter the race in a “slightly” modified ‘56 Porsche 356 Carrera… and by slightly I mean:

* Engine from a Porsche 959
* Stroke Up S
* Engine Balance Tuning
* Polish Ports
* High Lift Cam Shaft
* Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons
* Racing Crank Shaft
* High Compression Pistons
* Weight Reduction: Stage 3
* Increase Body Rigidity
* High RPM Turbocharger
* Anti-Lag System (strong)
* Racing Intercooler
* Racing Air Filter
* Racing Muffler
* Racing Exhaust Manifold
* Carbon Brakes
* Racing Brake Pads
* Hydraulic Handbrake
* Brake Balance Controller
* Racing Clutch & Flywheel
* RS Tires
* Fully Customizable Suspension
* Fully Customizable Differential
* Fully Customizable Racing Transmission
* Full Control Computer
* Nitrous

Net effect… instead of a 362pp machine with 97 HP & 88ft-lb TQ, weighing 1,850 lbs…

It’s a nearly 700pp beast with 843 HP & 578ft-lbs TQ, weighing just 1,800 lbs. 🫣

With TC kept at 0, every corner was a game of “will I spin?”. I was able to get in one decent lap in under 1:54… but man it was wild trying to tame this beast!

Results from 120 Daily Marathon Roulette Tickets

Here are the results and stats from 120 Daily Marathon Roulette Tickets... considerably better than the predictions:

Recorded Pulls:

  1. https://youtu.be/g72ybe3fxIs
  2. https://youtu.be/I6JzDi0ODBQ
  3. https://youtu.be/ZirzjUL29MA
  4. https://youtu.be/pF-Du_7Wrw8

Based on Star Rating:

  • 6-Star Tickets: 14 (675k avg value)
  • 5-Star Tickets: 2 (225k avg value)
  • 4-Star Tickets: 79 (218k avg value)
  • 3-Star Tickets: 25 (19k avg value)

Reward Type:

  • 74 Tickets for Credits (14 million)
  • 22 Tickets for Cars (10.2 million)
  • 8 Tickets for Engines (4.7 million)
  • 16 Tickets for Parts (0.7 million)

30 million total value (average 250k per ticket)

Even if I didn't want any of the engines & parts, and even if I didn't want any of the cars, and didn't wait to sell them when each one was near it's peak valuation, that still results in about 20 million credits (160k average).

Hopefully these results encourage other's as these are very reasonable averages since I've been tracking them over the last few months. Definitely not all Camshafts and Scattered Coins 👍

  • 8 x 1 million

120 Daily Marathon Roulette Tickets: Time for more Predictions 🤔

I’ve been recording Daily Marathon Roulette Tickets as there seems to be some disagreement over what the average results really are… and the results have been surprising (at least for those that expect the worst). 🫣

So here is another collection of 120 tickets:

3-Star: 25
4-Star: 79
5-Star: 2
6-Star: 14 (4xEngines, 2xParts)

Time to see who can guess the closest total value of all the tickets; and for bonus points, who can guess the total number of cars and their combined value; and just the total credits not including cars, parts, and engines.

I’ll update this post with the results possibly tomorrow…. maybe longer as that’s a lot of tickets to go through!

6 Years of Cosmetics: 3,481 😅 Happy Birthday FG and thanks for all the wild & wacky gifts over the years!

Links to previous posts & video previews of each bellow:

262 Colors

356 Patterns

158 Faces

189 Single Piece Tops

153 Single Piece Bottoms

800 Combo Costume Tops

795 Combo Costume Bottoms

150 Emotes

71 Celebrations

42 Emoticons

37 Phrases

250 Nicknames

218 Nameplates

Unfortunately, they never implemented filtering & sorting options. And these are only the ones I've collected over the years (nearly all are rewards or ones I got using in game currency, but there are some OG DLC items as well).

If you want to see everything that has been added and even sorted by what season/pass/update they were released during, the fandom wiki site for Fall Guys does a great job of listing everything, and if it was a reward, it will also list how it was gotten and when it was available.

Just keep in mind, fandom wiki has a lot of annoying pop-up ads, so if possible it's best to use a web browser with ad-blocking and or a router with a Pi-Hole.

Emotes

Celebrations

Nicknames

Nameplates/Banners

They also have a lot of additional info on the following RE Costumes:

Crossover Costumes

Unreleased Costumes

6 Years of Cosmetics: Pt. 11 Phrases (37)... like Emoticons, these were not added less than two years ago, but have been a great addition to the game.

6 Years of Cosmetics: Pt. 8 Emotes (150)... (just tagged the default ones to keep them separated) I'll post my favorites in a bit, but what are some of yours?

The social wheels were a very nice later addition... but I wish instead of sharing one wheel with emoticons, they had added a third wheel so that we could have had slots for 8 emotes and 8 emoticons instead of having to share slots.
