In UB CSE class and it is about group based project

Person A (me) fell behind for about two weeks during the semester but later came back and contributed technical work again.

Person B generally did work, but was frustrated with Person A for being late on some tasks. However, Person B had a much bigger conflict with Person C because Person C allegedly contributed nothing, so Person B repeatedly gave Person C very low peer review scores and also gave low evaluation score 2/5.

Person C knows that Person B is giving him a 1 but also thought Person A might also give him a low score, so Person C gave Person B and me a 1/5 each possibly to protect himself by lowering the total overall and raising the median.

Person A ended up giving everyone 5/5 because it was the end of the semester and he did not want to damage anyone’s grade. Person D was mostly neutral.

The PM was also an asshole and hated by 3 of group members because he was biased.

After all that, the peer evaluations started feeling more based on interpersonal conflict and self-protection than actual contribution.

I am not saying I deserve an A or anything but to pass the class because i don’t think failing because of group evaluation is fair.

Talked to professor and he told me that he will not change the grade and told me to file an appeal.

Has anyone dealt with situations like this in UB CSE/SEAS? Do departments ever review peer evaluations when group conflict clearly affects reliability?

In Buffalo,NYS, I moved out of off campus student housing in August 2025 with multiple roommates. Months later, I found out a $689 balance had been sent to collections and reported to my credit. I am disputing several of the charges, especially furniture replacement charges for a sofa and bedframe, because I was never shown proof that I personally caused the damage. Some charges are also split as “1/3” liability even though there were 4 roommates, including one who moved out earlier, so I do not understand how my share was calculated. I also do not remember receiving itemized move-out charges or supporting documentation around the time I moved out. I already requested validation from the collector, but they initially said they did not yet have the supporting documents and will get it from my landlord. I would like advice if anyone has encountered the same, the dispute process, and the best way to handle the collection and credit reporting.

Do you think i should dispute this with credit bureau? Please let me know.

I am a college student playing for college team and rated around only 1500 nctta. I have been practicing and using H3 on my FH, Rozena Bh on a HL5x blade and I feel like I am not able to keep up with boosting and even use the rubber to max potential like swinging all the way and stuff. Anything that plays the same but easier to use?

Ps. I just switched it to Hurricane 8-80. i know it has less performance ceiling but It has more performance floor imo.
