Termites or just water damage?
Could this damage be caused by termites, or is it just regular water damage?

LG top load washer rotor stator metallic sound
Recently replaced the rotor and stator on my LG top load washer due to hall sensor issues. Worked for a load or two and then it started making this metallic sound, not always but first only during the rinse cycle and now during wash as well. I tried retightening the main bolt but hearing the same issue. The 3 bolts attaching the stator are secure. There was a metal washer that I think i put in the right place (in front of the stator, behind the rotor). Any ideas?
