Got my truck. Now what?

Looking to truck camper vets for guidance on what I'll need to get my new truck ready for the Lance 850.

I have a new F350 Supercab with the plow package and rear swaybar to out fit. What I'm reading says I'll need:

Frame mounted tie downs

Turnbuckles

Upper Stableloads

Swing out bars

Rubber truck bed mat

Truck bed plug

Is all this accurate? Anything I missed or don't need.

F350 6.8 or 7.3?

My wife and I camp during the warmer months and do about 10 trips a year. The furthest we drive is about 3hrs.

We are looking to get a F350 and upgrade our camper to an in bed Truck Camper that weighs about 3000 with gear.

Over the next 3-5 years we plan to retire and will be doing cross country trips with this rig.

Chat GPT says the 6.8l with the "weaker" transmission will be fine for this. But i wanted to get a humans opinion.

07-2010 Chevy 3500HD

Im looking to pick up an LMM to use for camping and work. Ive done some reading on the deletes and wanted to get the overall consensus on what should be done to have the truck run cleaner. Im not looking to add HP. Just clean up the emissions so it lasts longer.

Some things ive read about doing:
Lift Pump: FASS
EGR Delete/Exhaust/Tune: Diesel Dudes bundle
CCV Delete Kit: Dirty Diesel

Is this the route you all would take?
Are there better or different alternatives?
Does this setup also remove the DPF?
