NRS12255F Clerical Officer Grade III Clearance process

Passed my interview guys!

I held a previous post for 8 weeks in the civil service in 2020 - 2021.

Unfortunately didn't pass probationary period. I am certain I won't get a reference from this employment. I note the following from the email regarding references:

"Note on References: The National Recruitment Service must be satisfied that it has a full and comprehensive suite of references which assures it that the candidate’s past performance and behaviours are appropriate to the post. The National Recruitment Service determines the merit, appropriateness, and relevance of references. Please note :

The National Recruitment Service may retract a post if sufficient satisfactory references cannot be obtained in a time frame congruent with service need. The National Recruitment Service reserves the right to retract a job offer should the successful candidate be unable to fulfil the provisions / criteria of the specific post in line with service need. "

Will it cause an issue with clearance if I can't get a reference from this past employment? I have held other employments since this period.

NRS12255F HSE Clerical Officer Grade III

Hi all,

Sorry for the post 😊

Anyone have any info on what happens during Clearance stage?

As we completed the application in 2023 and in that time , one of the referees I listed has retired.

I did list two other referees also.

A question, do applicants successful at interview stage, and who later enter Clearance stage, do they get emailed a further form to enter current referee contact details, where required?

HSE Clerical Officer references?

Hi,

I hope someone could please advise here.

I have just completed a year on a Tus Scheme and now I will be starting a new job this week on a CE Scheme.

Regarding references I understand the HSE requires 2 references during clearance stage and that one of those references must be from their most recent employer.

My interview is next week.

How are references sought from past employers?

Is it via email directly from CPL who are managing the competition to the employer via email or do candidates need actual physical hard copy references letters and provide them that way or how does it all work?

NRS12255F Clerical Officer Grade III

Hi,

Did anyone else receive the email regarding being called for interview for the HSE NRS12255F Clerical Officer Grade III today?

I submitted the confirmation of my attendance via the link provided in the email. According to the email, it states

"Once you submit your form, confirming your interview acceptance or decline response you will receive an automated email, with a copy of your submitted form. "

However, I failed to receive the automated email with a copy of my submitted form

At the end of submitting, I did receive the confirmation of submission screen (See screenshot attached), but no email. Nothing in my spam folder either.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Starting a CE Scheme after finishing a Tus Scheme?

I am due to finish up a Tus Scheme in the coming weeks, and recently received an offer of a CE Scheme following a successful interview.

I completed the relevant paperwork following this with the CE Scheme supervisor.

They gave me a provisional start date.

Question,

Is it the Social Welfare that finalises the start date or how does it all work?

Plastering interior bedroom wall

Currently plastering a small section of an interior bedroom wall..started this afternoon.

Plaster is taking a long time to dry.

The weather is dry and the room window is open.

Is there anything I can do to help the process?
