Gagging on solids suddenly

My girl has had a slow start with solids, enjoys tasting foods but has never eaten big serves - she’s 8 months old. Suddenly the past week, she coughs as soon as the tiniest bit of food is on her tongue, will then gag and more often than not follow through with throwing up :( what gives? Why is this suddenly happening has anyone else gone through similar?

Teething / congestion / throwing up

My baby is teething and is also quite congested. It’s hard to tell whether it’s caused from teething or if she has an additional virus. On top of that - she’s been throwing up really easily so whenever we do solids (BLW) she’s projectile vomiting I’m guessing it’s triggering her gag reflex?? It’s so strange because she could tolerate solids really well until now. Is this normal, has anyone experienced similar?? She’s 8.5 months old. She is otherwise happy as anything! It’s just when she’s eating solids she will throw up all of a sudden as soon as something enters her mouth.
