Good Deal? 2002 R1150RT with 9800 miles

This is for sale by a dealer near me and only has 9800 miles. Yes, less than 10,000 miles for a 20+ year old bike. I’m looking for a touring bike for some weekend getaways and after reading about how comfortable these bikes are I thought it might be a decent buy for so cheap. Anybody have experience with these bikes and have opinions either good or bad?

Looking to buy my first adventure/touring bike and looking for advice from more experienced riders. Will list all info I think is relevant.

-looking to go on long day trips and weekend journeys with off road capability for camping/hiking/remote destinations

-I am 5’7 160 lbs, reasonably fit but not a power lifter, understand being short so seat height may factor in so looking for low seat height or ability to lower

-ridden a 1993 Yamaha XT225/Serow for about 3 years to work and dogged like a dirt bike on weekends

-looking to spend less than $10,000

-thinking 500-800cc is more than enough to haul 100 lbs of camping gear and still run 75 mph with ease, still get 45 mpg but open to suggestions for more power if you think it’s necessary

-reliability/ease of working on it is nice. Not a mechanical wizard so like the simplicity of my current enduro, just looking for more bike

-initially thinking something like Yamaha Tenere 700, KTM Adventure 690, Kawasaki KLR, etc but open to all suggestions

Thanks in advance! Appreciate the community!
