Amber Horned Dragon by Dimenran.

Amber Horned Dragon by Dimenran.

Hi everyone! Happy to share my traditional piece here.

This is a concept of an Amber Horned Dragon, heavily inspired by the warm tones of desert canyons and sun-drenched landscapes. I wanted to balance the soft, layered watercolor washes with sharp, clean line work to give its features more definition.

Technical details:

* Medium: Watercolor and Sakura Micron fineliners.

* Paper: 100% Cotton, 300 gsm, A5 format.

Shared my Spyro drawing recently, now here is the watercolor process! 💜✨

Recently I shared my finished artwork of Spyro, and after seeing how much you guys liked it, I decided to share the creation process as well!

There’s something so magical about his character, and that legendary soundtrack always hits right in the feels. I just had to add the music for the sake of old memories 🥹💜

For this piece, I used a Malevich sketchbook (100% cotton, 300 gsm, fine grain). It handled the watercolor layers and wet-on-wet blending beautifully!

Hope this brings a smile to your face today! Which Spyro level or game was your absolute favorite growing up? 👇

Building up the layers on a dragon. Watercolor process by me ( Dimenran ).

Hi everyone! Wanted to share a quick timelapse of how I build up watercolor gradients and textures for my creature designs. I always find the process of painting scales and layering the colors so therapeutic.

[OC] [Art] Flams the Fire Giant, reimagined as a Dragon. Original character by Kuberish, drawn by me (Dimenran) using alcohol markers! 🔥🐉

Hey everyone! I wanted to share this piece I made of my friend Kuberish's original character, Flams. In her lore, he is a Fire Giant with an absolutely amazing story. I fell in love with his design and personality, so I decided to challenge myself and reimagine him as a massive, powerful dragon! The artwork is fully traditional, drawn on paper by me (Dimenran) using alcohol markers. I really wanted to capture his fiery nature and brute strength while translating his giant features into dragon anatomy. I'd love to hear your thoughts! How would your D&D party react to encountering a Fire Giant Dragon boss?

My take on an anthro Spyro! Art by Dimenran [OC]. What do you guys think?

I’ve always had a huge soft spot for dragons, and Spyro was a massive part of my childhood! It’s always so nostalgic and fun to draw him every now and then, especially putting my own spin on his design. For this piece, I really wanted to see him looking a bit more mature, strong, and powerful. Hope you guys like my interpretation! 💜

[OC] Traditional dragon drawing made with watercolors.

This is one of my favorite drawings made with watercolors. I absolutely love traditional media, but I usually create these pieces just for myself in my free time to relax.
