Do you ever reach a point when you are content with your setup? Or is it a never ending quest to seek marginal improvement and optimization?

Curious to hear from those that have been at it for a while. Do you ever reach a point your setup is dialed in and your just on repeat with new beans every time. Or are you always looking for the next gadget or technique or nutrient change to take things to the next level?

Even though I feel like things are in a great place overall, that itch to find the next piece that will make things 1% better never settles down in the back of my mind.

Stained my deck and I hate it. Is there anything I can do?

I built my deck last fall and just stained it. The color is just not landing for me. Comes off looking like a cheap paint job and just not loving how the end result came out. I feel like I went about it the right way.

- let it dry out for 8-9 months

- I pressure washed it before hand and let it dry out for a few days

- I pre treated with the pre stain conditioner

- did two even coats and let it dry in between

I used the same exact stain on a raised garden bed and a rear door I replaced and they came out great. But for whatever reason the deck just doesnt have the same depth and tone with the color (behr redwood semi transparent)

Am I just stuck with this color? Can I add another coat next year maybe that will do something?

Seeing some early signs of a minor calcium deficiency on a few fan leaves. What would be my best option to get a quick boost of calcium? Plant is about 3 weeks into flower. Can I foliar feed some cal mag? The buds are still very early and just starting to form

Would gypsum in the soil be taken up quickly or would that need time to breakdown before it's bio available?

Is there a particular product in the BAS lineup that is the primary calcium source? Is there a top dress I should add to the rotation to bring a small boost of that?

Overall my soil seems pretty healthy but its not the first time I felt like I was maybe a bit calcium deficient

is there any pros/cons to oyster shell flour over gypsum?

I've spent the last 2-3 grill seasons really trying to level up my kebab game and come up with some great recipes. Have made some great food and experimenting with a lot of spice combos but im still trying to find my unicorn. Would love to hear other kebab enthusiasts go to marinade/spice blends/techniques.

I have 2 dedicated Mangal Grills and use charcoal only. Bonus points for recipes with that Turkish spice palette.
