Pressure and squeeze.. what could it possibly be?? 21M

I’m always having a pressure and squeeze feeling in my chest, idk if it’s different than cardiac because when I have PACs it’s a very similar feeling but more quick.

I already got looked at by a cardiologist this March and my heart is normal to him. So idk if I have perhaps gerd and it’s the reason I’m having PACs and these feelings in my chest?

Right Atrial Enlargement reading on ER ECG

My ecg says right atrial enlargement, was discharged from the er.

This was actually taken 2 months ago but wondering why this would say it but docs weren’t worried.

A little worried about HCM

So my great grandmother had HCM which is the enlarging of your heart. This can cause cardiac arrest or other issues. Especially if you workout or exercise hard you can just drop dead because of it.

I got an echo done in March for PACs which showed no abnormalities of my heart and it’s structurally normal. Pretty happy that it is, I’m only 21 too. The thing is tho, knowing a family member especially blood related had this issue makes me concerned that down the road it’ll find its way to me.

My cardiologist said he isn’t worried about it since it didn’t show up on the echo but I’m talking future reference. Glad I don’t have it now but what will happen in a few years???

Thankfully my grandma lived a good long life and made it to 83, she died from other causes in 2013.

What a Premature Atrial Contraction sounds like:

A quick clip of what it sounds like when having a PAC. Mine always come in when my heart is beating below 70BPM and if I’m laying down. They can come in really hard and sometimes soft.

It sucks that I get episodes when my heart rate is low..

Are these enough tests..

I only did an echo, 3 day holter & stress test. I feel that maybe I should do more like genetic testing, mri, and to see if I have plaque in my arteries.

My echo showed a structurally normal heart, stress test was done great, holter was only 3 days so idk if it was 100% perfect for that reason.

I’m 21M 155 lbs and eat fast food a lot so that’s why I was thinking maybe I have a lot of plaque.

Should I do more testing to rule out cardiac arrest, heart disease, etc??

PACs only happening when heart rate is between 50-60s

Can someone explain why my PACs only come about when my heart rate is below 75? It’s strange and also annoying since at rest I have to deal with them. They never come about until my heart rate is low and that’s why I don’t want to take a beta blocker because my heart naturally beats slow when at rest or sleeping.. (21M)

They come in episodes that last between 10-20 mins also.

How long are cardiac tests good for?

21M just wondering how long these tests rule out no problems before actual problems can arise. I did an echo & stress test for reference (both came back great).

Is this a normal heart rate 21M 155 lbs

I ate a medium sized meal, it’s 85 out, if I stand and walk a little it stays around 125bpm

Help me understand the heart better!

21M 155 lbs, 5’9.

cholesterol: LDL: 98 HDL: 37 trigs: 58. Total: 158

Blood pressure norm: 110/67

No diabetes or any other type of issues.

I suffer from Cardiac Arrest anxiety (never had it), and that’s basically the main reason I have cardiophobia. Of course, I don’t want to have heart failure, disease, or any sort type of issues.

My heart rate is one of many worries. If I’m walking for awhile it’ll go to 110-120, sometimes 130. Any sort of effort it’ll go up a little more. Stairs, it goes to 150-160. If I’m bending down or doing something that involves some exertion it’ll go 150 ish. After I eat, it stays elevated and worsens upon walking, etc. I did an echo and it came back fine. Idk if I have SVT, docs never saw it, but one of my family members has it.

2nd thing is heavy exercise. Dk if my 21 year old heart can handle it.

3rd thing is substances & food. Like Zoloft or fast food. I eat a lot of fast food.

Just want to understand the heart a little better ty.

Also worried about CAD or blockages in my heart since of my fast food habits.

Help me understand the heart a little better!

My heart rate is elevated when I walk mostly after I eat. 120-150 bpm is what I see depending on the food. When I walk up stairs (I know it’s supposed to increase) but it shoots up to 150 or higher. Especially if I’m bending over and doing anything with exertion: I am a CA worrier so this doesn’t help. Also, anything below like 55 bpm gets me a little nervous.

Dk if these heart rates are healthy.

If I don’t eat it still kinda hovers around 90-115 when walking and pretty much the same bpm when exerting myself (150+). I’m not lifting any super heavy things or walking up much stairs.

Long QT & right atrial enlargement?

Went to the er for heart fluctuations (heart rate was elevated and going up and down) and my Apple Watch saying my qt is prolonged. Er docs said I don’t have long qt, but the strips look like long qt? Idk.

Also another concern is the ecg says atrial enlargement.
I’m a cardiophobe, and seeing things that can lead to a sudden cardiac death scare me a lot.. any feedback would be appreciated! (21M).

I’m so scared of cardiac arrest and also heart attacks

21M, I was doing better for awhile not thinking about it, but I saw a vid of someone going into CA and im back to those thoughts again. I don’t want to leave the ones who love me.

My biggest fear is cardiac arrest. I did an echo & stress test in march and they came back normal. But not “all the tests” so I’m worried the docs didn’t find enough.

I eat a lot of fast food and am worried it’ll kill me now.

Worried the docs didn’t find enough evidence and there’s still a problem with my heart.

I do take antidepressants which help a little.

PVCs causing Vtach or Vfib

I don’t normally get pvcs, just PACs, But sometimes I get them. I read that PVCs can cause vtach or vfib. Now I’m worried again about these things. How common is it to cause it?

Is there an explanation on why some days are worse than others? My PACs feel like my chest is getting squeezed and on the bad days, it’s pretty consistent, but other days I hardly get any at all, maybe two PACs an hour. Today, I’m feeling them a lot.
