This is my first non-white based deck (I usually do 5-10 drafts per set), but the rares were flowing. I know I should probably just run the wUB deck, but the wUBrG "Let's Have Fun!" deck is calling me. I should probably be running 17 lands but not sure which card to cut in the nuts deck.

I have plenty of other cards I could run instead, but not 100% on what build I should be running. I want to try out Ms. Marvel, but I only have 4 triggers for her, so maybe I should run just run Futurist Forge, Drone, or Iron Lad.

Any other suggestions on build or how I should have drafted are welcome!

I basically tried to run as many heros for the white rares and exile/lock down removal for handling indestructible. I usually didn't cast anything turn 2, but usually could by turn 3. My second opponent beat me running 3 color aggro running all of their 2 and 3 drops in the 3 colors.

Sadly, the draft did not save for some reason, I would have loved to review it.

After the multiple days of heavy rain last week, I noticed the granules next to the front door. How worried should I be?

I had the roof inspected for free 3 years ago, and they recommended a replacement due to what they said appeared to be wind damage on the back side of the house (about $17k for 50 year singles and new gutters). I've had to put money into other things, but I've been checking the attic for any leaks and haven't seen any so far.

My search skills failed me, and I didn't see any tuner installs past 2017 or 2018, I think, so I was curious if it looks correctly installed. It drives great and isn't sluggish anymore, and there are no error codes, but it doesn't hurt to double-check!

Yes, I should have used electrical tape, but I didn't have any, so duct tape was used.

Are there posts of this process elsewhere already? Otherwise, I might post the process with pictures.

Should I be running [[Improvisation Capstone]] in this deck? First game I played it, it exiled so many lands that I couldn't kill with Mathemagics, and the second game I only cast it a second time. If the game had gone on I would not have cast it again for fear of decking. It is such a strong card, but is it not right in this deck?

Also, yes, I made a couple mistakes during drafting where I took too many Last Gasps and I could have drafted better.

Starting off with double Snarl Song lets you go deep, then getting 4! [[Environmental Scientist]]s makes me think that 16 lands is reasonable.

[[Magmablood Archaic]] is my favorite rare of the set. Sure, cards like [[Together as One]] and [[Moment of Reckoning]] are fun and busted, and [[Brain Freeze]]/[[Mathemagics]] is always a hoot, but there's something about the feeling of invoking a magical blood rage in your creatures and swinging for the fences.

Looked back at the draft and I could see picks here and there (such as Elite Interceptors and Last Gasps) that I could have went in more for WB earlier, but I felt like my picks (for soup) are pretty defensible or at least only slightly off. Without knowing how the draft was going to go, what should I have noticed that I should have been drafting WR or WB earlier in the draft?

I usually shy away from aggro decks in draft (I enjoy more controlling draft decks), but I don't say no to them if I think it's what's being passed. What is also weird in this set is that, if you draft white, you tend to draft aggro if black is getting passed, and more grind/control if red is getting passed, which is the opposite of my usual guideline for most sets.

The black at the end of pack 1 was a decent signal, but signals have felt weird this set so it's hard to know if they're a signal or if a particular pack had 4 good cards in the same color so some bled through. Any thoughts?

A couple of punts resulted in a 5-3 record, but the deck really wasn't great. I was expecting a 1-3. I think Snarl Song was the right pick here, but it hurt to pass my baby Brain Freeze. What would you have picked?

I assume [[Expressive Firedancer]] or even [[Bulk Up]]/[[Interjection]] would probably be a better fit. I have never been impressed by the [[Rehersed Debater]], not sure if I should run one here or not.

I had been mostly drafting Mardu, but my 2 most recent decks have shown me how fun it is to just go for it. I almost cut Moment of Reckoning due to how strained the mana was, but thought I'd go big or go home.

I honestly thought I was going to be combo'd out by giant over the top plays like I had several drafts now. However, this one just seemed more down to earth? Other than a single 7 mana spell a couple of games, none of them felt like turn after turn huge spells.

Woke up to this inside our house. We've had tiny ones plenty, but this is the largest seen.
