As a member led party, the Green Party is very democratic and the leadership has less control over policy direction than other parties.

The Greens thus have a rich policy platform of member policies that the party would aim to implement should it come to power, as part of their commitment to more democracy.

Part of this increased democratic engagement had generally been a transparancey on what the member led policies are, and sharing them with the public so people can make an informed choice.

It seems in the run up to this local elections, the Green Party have now hidden their migration policies from the general public, and put other policies behind member log-ins, these were previously all accessible and transparent for people to make an informed choice.

Migration policies used to be here - https://migration.greenparty.org.uk/migration-policy/

Crime and Justice used to be here - https://policy.greenparty.org.uk/our-policies/long-term-goals/crime-and-justice/

Refugee and asylum policies used to be here - https://migration.greenparty.org.uk/refugee-and-asylum-policy/

Some might say this is because they are consolidating their websites to the main one, but I can see their policy platform for things like their animal rights and drug policy by googlings those at these links:

https://greens4animals.org.uk/animal-right-policies/ - Animal rights policies including a full ban on all animal testing including for medicine and medicial research here

https://www.greenpartydrugpolicy.org.uk/policy#3-proposed-reform-of-legislative-framework-long-term-policy - Drug policies here.

Do you think this them pandering to the right-wing to try to get more votes?
