Folks who loved here in their thirties or forties and managed to learn to speak German fluently. How long did it take you and what process you followed? Cheers.

Buying and selling an apartment within 5 years?

Has anyone bought an apartment in Basel and sold it after 5 years and atleast not lost more than 50K in the whole process (except for the opportunity cost of investing in the market)?

Visiting Zermatt with my elderly parent tomorrow - what can we do other than hiking or the expensive gondola/train travel to Matterhorn?

Hello all, same as title. We will have 4-5 hours in Zermatt tomorrow. I have done the train ride to Matterhorn and the 5 lake hike both a couple years back. This time, I want my parent to be able to spend time in Zermatt but without hiking or super expensive train rides. We will have day passes. please advise.

Please share your success stories, ladies. Tell me how you turned around your life in your thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, seventies and so on.

I want to be successful, happy, and altogether at peace with how my life has turned out, and I am far from there.

Serious answers please: what are those unwritten rules of working in a big Swiss company which make a person likable such that their hard work isn’t nullified by their personality?

Gals, those of us making successful careers, which of your unmasked traits, strengths and skills are you leaning into? Cheers.

Tired of masking in my corporate job, working hard and not growing.

Is the hotel card worth it?

I see the ad very often, have cousins visiting and wonder if it’s a good idea to have/use the hotel card and have a mini vacation within Switzerland. Have you used it?
