My gf wanted me to show him without the eyes too!
So before I really understood I needed to get fresh indigo to make any kind of vibrant blue, I purchased a bunch of dry indigo leaves. I want to be able to make watercolor paint with them even if the blue isn't as vibrant as it would be fresh, but I'm unsure how to extract anything from them. Is there a recipe or any suggestions to get any color but brown from them?
Hard to get his full long as he prefers to melt rather than streeeetch
It turned out so beautiful! I found it in a gravel parking lot at my work!
Found this brooch at an Antique stall at a Gem Faire, I have no other info on it, but it glows bright under a 395
I suspect manganese, but I genuinely don't know! Got it from an antique booth at a Gem Faire! Under a 395 light
I've been working on making my own watercolors from start to finish, and this is my first successful attempt at laking, then turning them into watercolors! Spinach/nettle and red cabbage pigment and watercolor test drops!!
For awhile I've been working on a Fears quilt based on when Jon gets each Mark, and it's finally finished! It's my first ever quilt so it's a bit wonky, but I love it!!!
I've been searching for some in antique stores for some time, and my mother picked this up as a souvenir randomly not knowing of my search. This is Uranium and not just glowing because of how bright green it is, yes?
