Good afternoon. Advice required, I think? My manager keeps putting my work in copilot to “professionalise and humanise” it. Now, if there was a problem with my work - fine. But he recently read a response I’d written to a nonsensical complaint about me and he said “wow, this reads so well. Have you put this into copilot?” And I said no, obviously not. He then proceeded to paste it into copilot and ask it to do something to it, then told me to read it and see if I thought it read any better or not. It didn’t, and I told him to stop putting my work into copilot. He replied “well I wish I could write things like this as well as you have, then I wouldn’t need to use copilot so much”. He puts everything I show him into copilot now, because he thinks it reads better.

It’s since come to our attention that he’s using it for EVERYTHING. Posters in the office, emails, performance reviews - if he needs to write an email he goes on copilot and types “draft an email saying x y z”. Can we actually do anything about this? It’s insulting and he’s being very lazy using it for everything.

Evening. I’m going to come across as a nightmare customer here, I imagine. I’ve worked retail before and understand what is and isn’t out of the employees hands - however; I ordered a mattress on 31/08/2026 and it was due on an overnight delivery, it was dispatched 04/09 and DX don’t deliver weekends so was due to be delivered on 07/09. It never arrived and I got an email on 08/09 to say it was delayed, I checked the tracking and it had been sent to Scotland, from Leighton Buzzard, passing Nottingham where I am on its way.. The delayed due date passed and I checked the tracking again and it had now landed in Warrington on 09/09 and it hasn’t moved from there since. The mattress supplier emailed me again to say it had been lost and another had been dispatched to replace it. That still hasn’t arrived. I contacted Costco customer service who basically said it’s not their problem, but they’d spoke to the supplier and they were sending a new one to arrive between Wednesday and today. Guess what? Yep, they haven’t even dispatched it - which I only know because I contacted Costco customer service to ask if they had a tracking number as I hadn’t received one. They’ve now dispatched a FOURTH mattress today but again they do not deliver on weekends so it won’t be delivered until Monday 28/09.

I’ve just rang Costco customer services and they said “sorry for the inconvenience, but as this is a 3rd party supplier there’s nothing we can do” I have recently upgraded to an executive membership after 5 years on gold star and I genuinely feel like never giving them a penny of my money ever again, this is the first time ordering online and also having to deal with their customer services and it’s absolutely diabolical - I’ve had a bed frame built since 04/09 with no mattress on it and they’re just not bothered at all. I genuinely thought the customer service would be really good, as it is in the warehouse.

Am I overreacting here or is this how the service with Costco UK always is? Is there any other form of customer service with them that I can contact?

After some advice hopefully someone can assist. I’m really struggling with sizing Polo Ralph Lauren stuff. Their items fit so well for big and tall sizes but I find different items are wildly different measurements.

I bought a 4XB Polo shirt and it fitted quite baggy and was far too long and a bit too big around the shoulders and armpits. I really liked it and I got a good deal so I had it tailored and some length took out, was great but after a few washes it did this weird thing where the front and back sort of stuck out but in a point and it looked so weird.

I ordered a 3XL T-shirt from Jacamo and when it arrived it turned out to be 3XLT and again it was far too long, half way down my thighs and just looked like a moo moo so I sent it back.

I’ve been on the hunt for a RL striped rugby top and I found one cheap on Vinted as a 3XB, I figured that size would fit perfect and it was a nice fit around the body but far too SHORT this time! Measured only 30 inches from shoulder to waist. I suspect it might have been shortened.

I’m 6’6, quite chunky but I sort of carry it well being so tall.. but I’ve got quite a long body too. Anyone in the same boat or know if these items are actually sized differently depending on weather it’s a T-shirt or polo etc? I’ve got some 3XB RL work shirts that just fit perfectly.
