50yo have inherited a lump sum 300k. Would like to retire around 60. No mortgage no dependants. My head says shut your eyes and stick it all on a tracker and forget it for 10 years but my heart won't let me... what to do?

I got a wavlink be5100 outdoor dual band wifi router and set it up and the range is awesome. Great. But now I want to get another and integrate them into a mesh network but the wavlink app doesn't seem to work. I get "no device is currently bound" error.
But I am connected via the wavlink router and have tried the steps advised by wavlink to fix this.
Any suggestions. Thanks (i see the wavlink app has terrible reviews...)

Every day hundreds of people walk within 5 metres of this but very few bother to look at it. I love it when it's in full flow like this.
1 clue in the foreground (not the writing) and a much bigger clue in the background.
I regularly fly a 10 hour route which is often busy. Sometimes if I'm in the last section to board the overheads are full and the nearest overhead space is at the other end of the plane. I find the stuff in the overheads near me belongs to people at another part of the plane. How can I address this because during those 10 hours I want to get stuff out of my bag often. Im always in the aisle because I need to get up and fidget including going into my bag. Thanks
