I'm not a funnybunny shipper, I just was curious. Has anyone's opinions changed? Do you view the ship in a different way now?

Personally, I wanted to know more about the headsets. How did each character discover the headsets? What did it look like for their real life counter parts when they put them on?​​

A decent amount of people have been asking what happens to Jax when he holds his breath. Gooseworx made a post saying he inflates. Just thought I'd let you guys know​​.

I thought both were absolutely amaze amaze amaze, but I personally liked the book better. The movie focused a bit more on the relationship between Rocky and Ryland which I really enjoyed, but I preferred the detail of the book. It dug deep into the stakes of the mission and really developed the atmosphere of urgency. Also the flashbacks explaining the environmental impacts of the atsrophage and all the preparation for the mission really built the backstory for me.

In chapter 13 of the book, Ryland has a flashback of him and Dr. Lokken discussing the ship. There were two moments in particular that stood out to me. They just feel intentional. She's doing what you do when you're flustered by a crush, or when you're flirting with someone. This could just be me, but I was wondering if anyone thought the same thing. I was expecting for there to be a flashback later on relating to the crush/relationship further. I'm personally glad that the story didn't go in that direction.

What about a couples quirk? You unlock them when you have your first successful confession and assign them to a pair of miis while they're sweethearts/spouses. There could be stuff like "uses pet names", "dislikes PDA", "loves PDA", "goes on lots of dates", "holds hands", "blushes when around each other" (because they don't really do that when they become sweethearts), "clingy", and stuff like that. I know those aren't the greatest examples, but I thought the idea might be neat. What kind of couples quirks would you want if it were a feature?​

I personally think it would have been funny if in the ending scene of the movie, with Ryland on Erid, they included maybe a brief shot of him taking a bite of a burger in his home or something. It would have been a fun Easter egg for the people who had read the book. Its not like I'm dying because my precious meburger is gone, I just think it'd be a neat idea.

I never realized that Ryland named the planet/Rocky's mate Adrian because that was the name of Rocky Balboa's wife from the 1976 movie. I thought he chose that name because it sounded like 'Eridian'.

A bunch of people are commenting on how they don't know how I didn't make that connection instantly, but I've never watched the movies. It's not like I didn't know it didn't exist because it's some "ancient material" or whatever. I know who Rocly is, but I had never heard of his wife. I'm aware they showed a scene in the movie of Ryland and Rocky watching the movie, but that didn't help me make the Adrian connection.​ And it's not thr biggest deal in the world that someone didn't get the reference immediately. Can we try to be a little less judging?
