Hi I'm a charming enthusiastic and odd 26 year old queer (double queer) guy looking for a roommate with whom to hunt for and then share a not-so-expensive 2 bedroom apartment for JULY 1 in Brooklyn. To be honest almost anywhere in brooklyn. My budget is optimistically low, aiming for 1100 or less. I want to be very friendly but not quite friends with a roommate.
In my current situation, I clean and tidy literally every day, bake cake and banana bread I share with my roommates, try to make the house look nice, take out all the trash, and chat with my roommates about their days.
I own a lot of furniture and kitchen stuff which I would like to have space to bring. I cook a lot and am very invested in the kitchen, I also love to keep a kitchen very clean.
I absolutely do not like shoes in the house. I don't have a cat, but want to get one during the lease. I am by default quiet but sometimes play music or tv. I want to be helpful and supportive to everyone I know including a roommate. I hope to balance being friendly with doing my own thing. I want to put up art we both like and occasionally buy flowers.
