Influx of pro-microblading folks/fans of solid grey brows that are on here, why?

I’ve noticed that posts of people with old, unnatural-looking, solid grey brows are getting more and more comments with from people saying their brows look “great”, rather than supporting removal.

I don’t know if it’s people trying to be nice or an influx of PMU fans ending up here due to algorithms.

The vast majority of us who got PMU desired a natural look, expected hairstrokes from the microblading technique rather than solid tattoos, and never wanted them permanently grey years later.

It’s not helpful or supportive when those people are asking about brow removal to get a bunch of people flooding the comments with “YOU LOOK GREAT” with obviously old, saturated grey brows. If we thought we looked great, we wouldn’t be here.

Is this even an anti-microblading sub? I swear it was at one time.

I already work , over 15 years, in an extremely hostile, toxic environment (a jail) where 40-50 are on stress leave WCB at any time. We are constantly understaffed and do not get breaks. The phone kept ringing and a supervisor who I’ve ALWAYS gotten along with, of another department, claimed they were short staff and we had to do their job for them (not a CO department) . I said we don’t have any staff either right now, we will do it when we can. He then gave a deadline (impossible in that place) and hung up. I was going to go to my supervisor and ask WTF was that and try to talk to him off the record with assistance, because that was unreasonable and sounded like he was mad we couldn’t run.

Turns out they lied and were fully staffed. They also get scheduled 1 hour lunch breaks but that’s neither here nor there.

I found out an hour later that he went straight up to senior management and wrote me up for my “tone” when I said we had nobody right now and would when we can. He put it in writing for them to deal with me. Management told me to be mindful of my tone if I’m frustrated and that our discussion would be put on file. I’ve never had that happen. First time negative EVER put on my file.

He then padded his complaint in writing that other people in his department (NOT COs) say I’m not helpful (no documentation or examples, because it’s a complete lie).

I interpreted this as a bullying and intimidation tactic. Immediately making a paper trail over something subjective (AND I have a witness) and then saying that people are all talking about me (spreading gossip) to create a disrespectful workplace. I now have extreme anxiety to deal with that department at all and don’t want to go there or answer their calls. Walking on eggshells when the line of work requires us to do that all day as it is.

Senior management had no problem with the way he went about it because I’m not “in trouble”, I was just “spoken to”. So if I want to apply for an opportunity and am as qualified as the others, are they going to pick the person who just got a documented warning for being disrespectful?

I, in turn, filed a Formal Complaint against him for respectful workplace and Intimidation tactics based on his position of authority. Formal, which is an investigation higher than senior management as I will not have their support when it involves a supervisor.

Am I going too far here? By the way, I put in a WCB claim for cumulative events including a final triggering contributing to a toxic workplace (severe anxiety of sounded frustrated on a call again, we are already in chronic anxiety over the job).
