Authentic Alfredo pasta

Authentic Alfredo pasta

Tried Alfredo pasta in Pondy while on a trip with my friends, only to hear that the white sauce pasta we get in our office at half the price was way better. 🥲
Who here prefers the usual version of western food we have than the authentic one?

Should I meet my college friend after 3 years?

I am 24F. I have low self esteem and an emotionally sensitive person. There is this person in my college friends group. She takes a lot of shortcuts to do things in her studies and other areas. I used to help her a lot while in college. I kinda felt low seeing how she gets everything easy, while I do everything myself without others help. She is also like the controlling one in our group, but I didnt mind that then. But a lot of times I feel left out when I was with them.
I was in a long term relationship with my bf who I met in high school, he also went to college and he was everything for me. I never planned anything in my life without him. My biggest dream was to marry him, start a business together and travel the world. He was like the best thing in my life. My friend also had a bf she met in college and after our graduation they went abroad to do their masters together. I was kinda jealous that I couldn’t do that with my bf as my parents are so strict and I always have to hide it from them whenever I meet my bf. 2 Years later we broke up due to a lot of things and I was depressed for the past one year. My career was stuck bad, luck wasn’t in my side, I had to do a job that I never wanted. Still I learnt many things about myself and some hard life lessons in this period and I am trying to grow myself to be a better person. And then a few weeks later I got a message from my friend who got a high paying job, that she is back in town and asked me if we can meet. I told her yea sure. Im not sure why I said that, I was a people pleaser all my life and I m trying to break that behaviour. Also Im worried if i go meet her, I would come back being anxious and feeling low because of how behind im in life. Or maybe is there a way to improve my mental health by actually meeting her? Looking for advice to handle my emotions better : )
