Top doc of America scam?

Hi all! I am a supervising technician at a private practice with one OD. As of the last week or so we have been bombarded with calls from someone from a place called “national registries” about them electing our OD for their “Top docs of America” book. This woman keeps asking to speak to the doctor directly. We knew nothing about this so declined to take the call. She has called multiple times and been exceptionally rude to our staff telling them to “just go get the doctor”. I finally reached out as his clinic supervisor and requested more information to scope out what weird stuff is going on. She emailed me a slip with our doctors name stamp on the signature line. The old office manager who has since left submitted him without his consent. I let her know via email that it was submitted without his consent and even though he’s honored he respectfully declines to be part of any publication. I also requested she no longer contact our clinic. She replied insisting that it does not matter what I say and needs to talk to the doctor. I finally had to block her email and tell her we now consider this harassment if she is to reach out anymore.

Has anyone dealt with this before? It’s becoming exceptionally irritating as this lady WILL not let up.

Went on a 7 am hike at little mashel falls in eatonville. No one was there when my buddy & I got there. All trails reviews stated the upper falls were washed out by a landslide so I didn’t even attempt. We were able to make it up to the middle falls and find our way into a cave behind the waterfall. It was very sick. Did some tarot readings & laid on the large rocks and then made our way down to lower falls where we finally saw a few people. Honestly a good early morning exercise. All trails had us at roughly 900 ft elevation gain & 6 miles. 10/10 would do again.
