EFL Championship - Match-day 2
The second game of the championship is upon us! Hoping for a much better game then last week. As Mousinho said in his post match reaction to the QPR game we were solid for 30 mins winning everything but we just collapsed. Really hope this is not going to be a reoccurring theme this season.
My prefered line-up would be: Schmid, Swanson, Poole, Shaughnessy, Devlin, Adams, Shein, Murphy, Segecic, Kamara, Marezi
Think we should be able to get a 1-0 win here, what do you think? Up the blues and play up pompey!

VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
John Mousinho said: “I’m still in a positive frame of mind, although we don’t brush anything under the carpet and have to learn from the first couple of games.
“We put ourselves in fantastic areas and created a lot in both of them – we could have gone 2-0 up against West Ham and QPR.
“When we won League One we struggled a bit at the start and got a few draws, so we won’t get carried away.
“It’s important to move on quickly, build on the good things we’ve done over past couple of weeks and look to get a positive result at Lincoln.”
TEAM NEWS
Keshi Anderson (quad), Josef Bursik (quad), Márk Kosznovszky (knee), Connor Ogilvie (knee), Franco Umeh (hamstring) and Thomas Waddingham (ankle) are all currently sidelined.
Harvey Blair is also a doubt because of illness, but skipper Marlon Pack is available for selection again after recovering from knee surgery.
Ryley Towler and Reeco Hackett could both feature for Lincoln against their former club, but the hosts are expected to be without ex-Blues defender Sonny Bradley (knee) and James Collins (knee).

EFL Championship - match day 1
First game of the 26/27 Season! I'm looking forward to the season ahead, think we've made some great signings and hoping we can push on and end the season well clear of the relegation zone and assert ourselves as a mid-table championship side. I think today will be a tough one but think we'll win 2-1, an Abu masterclass incoming. Please post your score predictions below! Play up Pompey!

“Our fans know the challenge we always face in the Championship and I’m sure there will be huge amounts of both realism and positivity.
“QPR have really developed in terms of the way they play, although a lot of their personnel at the weekend will be what we saw last season.”

After a frustrating season would you take him on a free? I think as long as we get someone in over the summer who can take over that 10 position, he alongside swift could be good backups?
Failing us taking him on this summer I could see him at Lincoln or even in league one with a club like Stockport.
