Just spitballing ideas
1 only bey spirits of the same animal/creature can fuse example Pegasus and cyber Pegasus could fuse hypothetically
2 at one point in time it was one big crow and it's power got split into two beys and it's just reforming back into one crow
3 The Crows are twin spirits and maybe that's why they can fuse and is a ability specific to them only
4 all bey spirits can combine like this they're just the first ones to figure it out

We often see ryuga smite l Drago with bolts of lighting why he does this I have multiple answers
1 the pain from the lighting causes l Drago pain increasing its anger and dark power explaining how ryuga freely created electricity from his hands when the dark power was at its strongest.
2 The lightning helps L form its spiritual body better as we often see it come out after it's been struck by lightning I'm not too sure about this one cuz we've seen L-Drago form without needing lightning I'm just throwing stuff at the wall
3 it just absorbs the lightning for a power boost just that straight up
4 can't think of a 4th reason I just want to hear people's opinions on this
