Just received 3 parcels from Vinted, the first one stank, the parcel bag, the parcel bag inside that bag, the trainers within, it smells so bad, it’s currently in my hallways because I don’t know what to do with it yet.

It needs to be a mandatory requirement to declare you smoke in your home because how do these people not realise (prob do and just don’t care) that everything in their house stinks?

I need to report it but they were really hard to find types of trainers I had spent months hunting for but also can’t just be washed because of the design on the outside, so now what? Do I spray them down and quarantine them somewhere

Why don’t people just say?!? People say it’s from a pet and smoke free home, just own up that you smoke in your house so we all know to avoid your listings

Our team has gone through a consultation, a grievance was put in, it was investigated and everything upheld, it’s been a lot.

now I wasn’t part of the consultation, it wasn’t my grievance although we were all interviewed and had to write statements and I was off on LTS because of the stress and lack of comms about all the changes being made as I’m autistic.

But, now everything is moving on and the SLT are trying to implement all the actions from the investigation, I have been asked verbally via my manager to supply her boss and her boss’s boss (the SLT) with my reasonable adjustments as documented for work for them to give to HR.

No one (yet again) has explained why this is needed. What will be done with it, who will see it, or how actions from their learning will be carried out, I’m also unsure about this as nothing has been put in writing?

All she was told was that HR had asked about reasonable adjustments for the whole division.. 2 of us.. but no one else from other divisions has been asked who is also disabled.

I feel like this absolutely needs to be a lot more professional, clearly explained and recorded a lot more than it has been, these SLT are new, were part of the consultation and grievance so there’s no trust here that im not being stitched up.

Should this have been in writing? I’m not going to ask if they should even be asking as you’ll likely know as little as I do

Bought a cardi off Vinted, and it arrived with cat glitter all over it, now this may upset some but as a cat lover since birth but currently sad and moping as I am without a cat but looking 👀 , I was elated and chuckled at the cat hair. I then wondered - if people are selling from a pet home, surely we shouldn’t be deprived of a photo of said pet? For the tax no?

I think it’s Ginger, goes brilliantly with the forest green wool. Also sadly aware that not all cat owners are as fond of cats as 99% of Reddit is 🤷🏻‍♀️ so didn’t ask the seller the seller to tell their moggie I said psst psst psst🐈

It’s been a rough day and this was the only thing that made me chuckle, I may need a lie down
