Anyone who has experience getting declined to convert their existing MFree or any Metrobank CC to Travel Visa Signature? Any guess why?

For context, I have a long time CC with Metrobank (started with another card type with AF then I converted to MFree). Recently I asked to convert to Travel Visa Signature but got declined. No explanations. I don’t understand what’s the issue - I have 6 digit deposit, high CC limit and always paid. I just like their travel card so I’m willing to find a way to “resolve” it.

Disclaimer: I’m always for clean government and for progress of the nation. So yes, call me a silent dilawan or pinklawan. I did not vote for BBM but I’m pragmatic enough to recognize the lesser evil today.

Sanay naman na tayo sa heartbreak pagdating sa gobyerno natin. Pero kakaiba yung impact ng circus yesterday. Hindi ako nakatulog and ang heavy ng pakiramdam. Maybe because now I’m a mom — it’s not just my future, it is more my children’s future.

I question again whether it is still okay to build our future in this country. The feeling now is not just heartbreak but fear.
