Shosh was icky to me. I get that she had issues but every time I’d try to understand her I’d get this wave of negativity. Can someone help me understand her as a character?

After deep examination. All of the family had severe mental issues or at least issues. I found out recently that the husband was having an affair plus the embezzling. Pat was living through Jonbenet with neglect to Burke as well.
Burke is mentally ill. I'm not sure as to the extent but there are issues. They all tie in with each other like a collective family dysfunction. Can anyone add to this, enlighten me?

I remember as a young boy being told to watch oz but never did as an adult watching it. Oz was horrifying pretty realistic always gruesome. Never satisfied. Awful but great show. A lovable horrible show.
