How to go about beginning a conversion?

So for context, I’m 17, starting college this September. I’m patrilineal but was not raised Jewish, and I want to be orthodox so that’s not really useful anyway. I‘ve been seriously interested in converting for about 3 years now. I know I can’t convert at 17 and I’ll have to wait until I’m 18, but would it be worth contacting a local orthodox synagogue to attend some services just so I can get a feel for what it’s like beforehand? I also joined my school‘s Hillel because as I said I’m patrilineal and thought it would be a good opportunity to learn about Judaism even if it’s not specifically Orthodox Judaism. For context, I’m in Seattle, so any recommendations of orthodox synagogues that may be open to doing conversions would be great too. Sorry if this is a lot lol.

My Moomin grad cap

I kinda gave up with some of the rhinestones cause it was taking way too long 😭. I think it came out ok in the end though.

Received a Hillel Magazine but aware I did not give them my info

Ok so I guess this is a little random, but I received a Hillel magazine in the mail a couple days ago, even though I don’t think I’ve ever given them my address or info. Even weirder it was addressed to my dad and idk how they got his name. I am starting college in september and my dad is Jewish so I guess it kinda makes sense but I’m just curious how they knew lol. Surely they don’t send these out to every college student? Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Disability Housing Assignment

Does anyone know when disability housing assignments come out? I received an email saying that I would be assigned to my housing, but I haven't gotten any updates since, and nothing is showing up in my housing portal.

Thanks

This is less so about women wearing tzitzit and more so about the fact that this woman isn't Jewish, SHE'S CHRISTIAN. Is that a thing, Christians wearing tzitzit?

Also the way she pronounces it is pissing me off so bad 😭
