Born and raised in Japan. I was always on the short side in class.

My husband is half German half American.
*I didn't include my toddler girls but they are shorter than their peers so far.
What do you think of Maria when you hear it? What are your impressions?
As a Half Japanese (I'm not Christian, western, Filipino or spanish) born and raised in Japan, I didn't know anyone named Maria growing up until I had several American schoolmates named Maria. I always got complimented for having a "cute classy name" by other Japanese people.
My family actually has no ties to the name in terms of ancestry or country of origin. My dad just happen to really like the name for some reason.
So what do you imagine from an Asian Maria?
