need help figuring out wtf this is
for some background i’m 19F and he’s 19M & we met at a religious convention in another state. he goes to college in another state as well. we started texting after the religious convention last summer and texted on and off but it was mostly random swipe ups on each others stories. then winter break came around and we started texting about making a plan to see each other.
february came around and we actually did it and flew to meet each other in another state on a vacation (he loves traveling) but we only went for 2 days since we hid it from our parents. it was super fun we clicked well and he paid for everything except my flight. after that trip though he still went back to not texting and we eventually fell off again (he’s not a texter at all from his words)
we hadn’t talked in a bit until a few days ago he randomly asked me to travel that same day since he wanted to go somewhere. since it was so last minute this time he even paid for my flight, he covered every single thing. it was really fun and we didn’t do anything physical except kiss and cuddle.
now we’re back and he’s been texting me saying he misses me but still sucks at texting. idrk what to do honestly i think i caught feelings but i’m just not really understanding the situation or what to do about it really.
he said he’d do long distance for the right person once so i assumed i’m just not the right person but i feel like flying someone out with no expectations of physical things and treating me like his girlfriend says otherwise especially how much we connect irl. he also told me when his parents asked him about girls he told them about me which shocked me even more. but we’ve both also talked to other ppl in the gaps of these trips so i really don’t know. any thoughts or advice?
