Here me out I understand content creators are vital to get a game popular etc. But my god do I hate the build videos and what’s strong.

I find I am always playing against the same build comps. Hey Yuban releases a video on the family now everyone using the Strat.

I feel it stops people actually playing the game and learning. This can be the same for warfactory build order gospel build orders etc.

I feel like In games like StarCraft and strategy games it relies on skill but in this game Anyone can get to 2k spamming the same build.

I kinda agree with dillo and woot that a lot of the top players play these builds and there’s not much more imagination anymore.

There is a simple way to tackle all this is change the meta and release updates nerfs and buffs.

I can’t remember the last time there was a decent patch.

2100 player here played this absolute beast yesterday. Completly dismantled me haha so mad the difference in skill from 2100 to the top.

Does anyone know who this person is I he’s top of the 201 bracket atm.

Think I am done with this game find it boring now, are there any other games like this.

I have played TFT and kinda done with that too any other recommendations.

Anyone else gutted this games on a downward spiral. Reddit numbers have dropped 400 in last few days and dropped down to only 6400 from over 12k.

I am hoping the game will pick up but feel like it maybe done it’s a shame cos I love the game but the figures are worrying.

My god sometimes it feels like the game is trolling you. I know unit drops are vital for the longevity of the game but I feel like they have impacted drastically the way the game plays. Like no one high MmR techs or builds their board until after first drop.

I find it makes the game less creative and interesting. Like oh I built this build gives him counter oh ok build a different build I know it’s to stop snowballing and give losers the chance to come back but my god it’s annoying.

People say it makes for more creativity but it makes ppl play a safer board that’s not heavily countered.

I currently around 1850 slowly climbing, what’s your thoughts on high level cards.

Had a game where stang lvl 3 card came so I picked it and when I had economy I started dropping them. I paired this with carry vortex and won the game op was 1950.

My question is multifaceted are these cards worth it ?

Do you pick them?

If so why and if not why.

I am aware you are at a money disadvantage by picking these but if u only run them sparingly they seem really good.

I love this game but I find myself facing same thing every game at high MMR. People run the same comps every game and the imagination is leaving this game and becoming a meta sim city builder.

Does anyone else feel the same way I find myself playing random stuff just to get some enjoyment back. I would love a massive patch to completely shake up the game and make it fresh again. Maybe removing MMR completely would make ppl not care and try stupid stuff.

I enjoy this game but from watching streamers it seems like they all hate it.

Why are they still playing if they look miserable?

What are your thoughts on the game atm I have noticed an influx of players but don’t think it has changed high MMR much.

I ain’t a massive fan of the meta atm loads of typhoon spam and phoenix atm.

Like I said I picked up a pair of xm6 so I could immerse myself in surround sound audio. Tbh I wasn’t impressed I know they are great for music and others have said they rate them for movies but couldn’t see how. For context I own a pair of Bang and Olsen headphones which I bought 8 years ago which are wired I find these are just as good or not better.

Are there headphones that are great for movies or will I struggle.

So had a day off work and a whole day to play one of my fav games. I now understand what a rooster meant now with the amount of games I have played.

I work a lot so don’t get much dedicated time to play this game. Today I have realised the stale state this game is in.

Every game was either compensator hounds, void eye stang, void eye flame tank. I say that out of the 20 games I have played 17 were these comps.

It’s just boring I understand y playing the game all day like rooster did and other streamers get bored.

I have played since it dropped on early access and have had a love hate relationship through all the bad decisions the devs made. I am around 1800 atm and think I will stop there.

Also the game feels so messy atm and the amount of units that can be deployed seems way too much.

Any way Rant over anyone else feel like this, aimed at the people who play this game a lot.

Have they done something to raidens they seem like there range and fire rate seem terrible now I haven’t used them for a while so might have missed something.

Wtf is this game just had a guy he had 9 spells by round 7. I had to laugh it was so comical wish there was a spelless game mode. They deffo need to tune it, but tbh it’s prob all in vain cos we all know the devs don’t listen.

What’s people’s thoughts and opinions on spells do we love them or hate them.

Seeing a lot of Vulcan mark at high MMR as well as hound spam. I have started using phoenix pretty much every game. Prob my fav unit atm, with recon they are hard to deal with. Don’t get me wrong u need good chaff clear to make the work but even 3 with recon and range can clear most things with enough levels.

Loving the balance of the game atm.
