External resources for enquiring about PGCE’s.

Following on my recent post about doing a pgce from home (thank you everyone for the feedback! It was very helpful), are there any good resources or websites outside of Reddit that would be useful for talking with teachers (both current and former) /pgce students. I’m trying to get as much information as possible as I’m very aware of how involved the PGCE training is, and being able to bounce questions off people would be very helpful.

Doing a pgce while living at home?

Firstly, I’d like to say that the positivity here has been a genuine lovely change of pace I see compared to a lot of other teaching subreddits.
For context, I graduated uni last year with a 2:1 hons degree in history (I know I know), and since mid this year have been working in a generic office job in the pensions sector in Manchester. To be honest, while the office and people are nice, I can’t see myself doing this for the rest of my life, as it’s frankly incredibly boring and I spend a lot of the day watching the clocks.
I have previously considered teaching as I’ve enjoyed working with kids on uni events and placements, although I am well aware of the challenges involved - I’ve got a couple friends who have done their pgce and while they do enjoy their jobs, they both agree that it’s a lifestyle and full on. I would honestly love to try and I’m looking at the 27/28 intake in September next year. I went to university at the University of Birmingham and while I did enjoy my time, I’m considering doing one at Wolverhampton as it would mean I could live at home with my parents and would save me a lot of money (although it would still be a 45 min drive there and back). While I’d like to do a history pgce (secondary), I’m aware of the stiff competition and I’d be happy also teaching any adjacent subject like English or geography alongside. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Gordrakk vs Regular Boss ?

I see that Gordrakk is only 10 points more than his non-named character alternate build, but seems to have stronger rules - is there a clear consensus to which is the better choice? Cheers.
