Hey there. Im more of an auto mechanic/carpentry/ garage door guy. Not as well versed in appliances but not scared to repair with some advice.

I have an older Frigidaire glass top oven (10-15yrs old). Digital controls. Stovetop works perfect. The Ovens lower element blew, so i replaced it with an identical one. It worked fine for a few weeks. Now, if you set it to Bake, anything below 400° it won't cook anything. If you set it anywhere above 400°, you would burn fries and nuggets within 5 minutes to an absolute crisp.

A coworker mentioned a temperature sensor that could cause issues, but hes more versed in the trades that Im involved with too.

Any advice on how to proceed? I would always rather repair than replace, especially with older stuff.

Thanks so much in advance

Hey there. So I'll cut right to it. I was put on a 3 month medical leave due to some heart issues. Im due to return Monday, and now my employer is saying they aren't busy and won't be taking me back. They've hired at least one other person during my absence.

From what i can gather, this isn't really a legal thing to do. Im not well versed in legalities, but from what I can tell, this is pretty illegal.

What should I do here? I have it in writing as well.

Thank you very much to anyone who can point me in the right direction
