Basically the title- I applied to LECOM Bradenton and Erie on AACOMAS weeks ago. Got an email to submit my secondary to Bradenton, but haven't heard anything from Erie. Application portal says the app hasn't even been started yet, but I already submitted on AACOMAS, so am I missing something?? I reached out to support and all they said was "looks like you have to sign into the portal and finish the application," but I don't remember doing anything other than the secondary in the portal for the Bradenton application?

Got an email from a school saying that my physician LOR wasn’t submitted on letterhead or signed, and now I’m struggling to get ahold of the dr… how big of an issue is this i’m freaking out?? 😭😭

Finished writing up my essays for PCOM and realized that the prompt asks for ONE aspect of the campus mission that resonates with me, and I wrote about 3… Is this as big of a deal as I feel like it is?? 😭😭

Hi all, I was hoping someone could help me with my school list. I’m trying to stay on the East Coast (preferably in the northeast, but rly anywhere east coast is good) but if there’s a good match elsewhere, I’ll consider it. 2 gap years, 504 MCAT, 3.51 GPA from a T50 university, 2000+ hours EMT/Medical Assistant, 2 years research (no pubs 😔✌️), lots of extracurricular and leadership experience. So I am currently in a gap year getting ready to apply to med schools, and I realized that I do not have any DO LORs for my AACOMAS applications. I have over 60 shadowing hours (due to a program my undergrad offered), but I did the program 2 years ago and did not ask for LORs because I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to be a doctor back then. Now, I’m not sure what to do. I don’t have any family/friends who are doctors, and I don’t even live in my hometown anymore to connect with acquaintances of my family. I also don’t have a personal doctor myself that I could ask to write one for me.

What do you guys recommend? Cold calling offices to shadow? I’ve already done over 60 hours of shadowing, so I really just need a LOR from someone who knows me 😫😫
